XAT Exam 2024: Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur has extended the XAT 2024 application form last date to December 10. Candidates can apply for XAT Entrance Exam 2024 at xatonline.in. XLRI will conduct the Xavier Aptitude Test 2024 in CBT mode on January 7, 2024, in 80+ test cities. The admit card for the XAT exam 2024 will be issued on December 20 onwards. Candidates can download the XAT exam 2024 admit card by entering the valid XAT ID and Password.
So what is the XAT exam given for? The XAT 2024 is taken for MBA/ PGDM admissions offered by some of the prestigious institutes of the nation. Apart from XLRI and 10 other XAMI members, 600+ B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programmes. Every year around 90,000 to 1 lakh candidates appear for the XAT exam. XAT exam will asses the aptitude of candidates for future business success.
Nearly 90,000 to 1 Lakh candidates will appear for the XAT exam as per the trends. The question paper for the XAT exam 2024 will consist of 100 MCQs from the sections of decision-making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge along with 1 Essay writing question. XAT exam duration will be 3 hours and 10 minutes. Earlier, the XLRI released the XAT exam mock test on October 28 and November 5 respectively in online mode.
XAT Exam 2024: Important Updates
- The XAT exam registration began on July 15, 2023.
- The XAT exam fee has been increased to Rs 2,100. An additional fee for each program is Rs 200.
- The essay writing part is restored in the XAT exam.
- XLRI Jamshedpur seats for PGDM (BM) increased to 240 from 180.
- XLRI Delhi NCR campus seats for PGDM (BM) increased to 180 from 120.

What is XAT exam eligibility?
Before filling out the application form for the Xavier Aptitude Test 2024, candidates are advised to go through the XAT exam 2024 eligibility criteria. Details pertaining to the educational qualification required marks, age limit, and related are mentioned under the XAT 2024 eligibility criteria. XLRI Jamshedpur predefines the eligibility criteria of XAT 2024 which are given below.
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Students in the final year of their Bachelor's degree or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.
- There is n o specific CGPA or percentage mentioned that has to be obtained in graduation. No age limit has been specified to appear for the XAT exam 2024.
- One of the key points prescribed by XLRI in XAT eligibility criteria is that the candidates must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and phone number throughout the selection process.
Note- The mere fulfilment of minimum XAT eligibility criteria will not ensure consideration for shortlisting by XLRI, SPJIMR, XIMB, IMT, TAPMI, or other B-schools in which the applicant applies for admission.

XAT exam 2024 registration process commenced on July 15, 2024. Candidates can fill out the XAT 2024 application form in online at xatonline.in by December 10, 2023. Candidates applying for the XAT exam 2024 can pay the XAT exam fee of Rs 2100 (XAT exam fee for all categories- General, SC, ST, PWD, OBC, etc.). Those who are interested in XLRI programmes will have to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- each.

Correction in XAT Exam 2024 application:
To change the test city preference, candidates can write to admis@xlri.ac.in mentioning their XAT exam ID, Father's Name, Date of Birth, chosen exam city, and updated city latest by the date specified by XLRI. This XAT exam form correction facility is active from November 29 to 30. The change of test city option is provisional and XLRI will take the final decision on it.

To ace in XAT 2024, candidates are advised to appear for the mock test which was released by the conducting body. Xavier School of Management (XLRI) will declare the result of the XAT exam 2024 on January 31, 2024, in online mode. Candidates can download their XAT 2024 scorecard and check their sectional and overall percentile till March 31, 2024.
XLRI will also send the hard copy of the XAT 2024 scorecard to the candidate’s residence but the applicant needs to pay Rs 300 in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) in favour of XLRI Jamshedpur, payable at Jamshedpur. As the result of the XAT exam is declared, the cutoff to shortlist candidates for GD, and PI will soon be released by XLRI and other member institutes.

What after the XAT exam result?
Candidates must keep a copy of the scorecard cum result of XAT 2024 till the admissions are over. The scores of XAT will be used by all XLRI campuses and 160 B-schools for admissions to their management programmes. XAT 2024 is the screening test based on which candidates will be shortlisted for the selection process comprising GD and PI.
XAT 2024 cutoff will be released by XLRI Jamshedpur for each program. Candidates who meet the cut off prescribed by the institute will have to appear for the further round of selection procedures which include group discussion and personal interview rounds.

XAT 2024 Counselling
Mode of Counselling: Offline
Candidates who will qualify for the XAT cutoff will have to take part in XAT 2024 counselling. In order to participate in XAT counselling, they will have to first register for the counselling process by entering the login credentials on the official website after which they are required to pay the respective counselling fee. More than 160 institutes will participate in the XAT 2024 counselling process. Check the XAT counselling process and the steps for registration for the same:

The selection process includes GD, Essay Writing, and Personal Interview. First, XLRI, its 11-member institutes and other XAT participating institutes shortlist the test takers on the basis of cutoff. Then the shortlisted one attends the mentioned selection rounds. Many institutes do not conduct all three rounds. Past academic scores, work experience (if any), profile, and XAT score will be considered along with the performance in XAT selection rounds for the final admission.

Hello.I dont know my blood group .Can i fill any blood group in XAT exam form.Will it create any issue?

while downloading my XAT form I realized I had put my parents info as single parent will that get my form rejected?

how to apply for spjimr through xat score
Hey. Unfortunately SPJIMR won't be accepting xat 2022 scores. Graduates from any stream can apply as long as their scores are at least 60%. Also, the institution might conduct its PI ( interview) through online mode.

Hey aspirant!! Unfortunately this year SPJIMR is not accepting the XAT scores for PGDM admissions. Only CAT ( Common Admission Test) and GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) will be accepted for the admissions.

Earlier S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research(SPJIMR), Mumbai accepted CAT, XAT and GMAT scores for admission. But from year 2020 only CAT and GMAT scores will be valid for admission. This has been confirmed by the admissions team at SPJIMR Mumbai. So you can apply for SPJIMR Mumbai through CAT and GMAT .And all details about applying through CAT & GMAT is provided in Careers360 :
