About UPESMET 2024
UPESMET 2024: UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET 2024) is a university-level entrance test conducted by the University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun for admission to its MBA programs. UPESMET is held multiple times a year. Candidates interested in taking UPES Management Entrance Test (UPES MET) can apply online at the official website, upes.ac.in.
UPES Dehradun has commenced the registration process for UPESMET 2024. The application from eligible candidates seeking admission to MBA at UPES Dehradun are sought in online mode only. UPES is 2 hours long test and consists of 140 multiple choice questions across fours sections - General English, Quantitative, General Awareness, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The entrance exam is followed by Person Interview. The candidates who qualify in the test will be called for the PI round to be held online. Candidates will be allowed to choose a PI slot. The final merit will be based on performance in written test and PI.
Besides the UPESMET, candidates can also apply through other national level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. The following national level entrance exams will be accepted for shortlisting candidates for admission process:
- Students having a minimum MAT / CMAT score of 70 Percentile will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test and will only be called for Group Discussion and Interviews if qualified.
- Valid 50 percentile and the above score of CAT 2022/ XAT 2023
- A score of a minimum of 400 or above for GMAT, and a score of 120 and above for NMAT 2023 scores will also be accepted.
Note: 30 percent of the seats are filled through the national-level entrance tests. In case such seats are vacant, then UPES will fill those seats through UPESMET.

UPESMET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
UPES conducts entrance exams for admission to the MBA programme and they have formulated the UPESMET eligibility criteria. Aspiring test takers must meet the eligibility requirement before filling out the online application form for UPESMET 2024.
The UPES MET 2024 eligibility criteria are mentioned below-
- Aspirants must obtain a minimum of 50 percent marks at both secondary and higher secondary levels (Class 10 and Class 12)
- One must be a graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognized university.
- Age Limit- There is no age limit as per the eligibility criteria of UPES MET 2024
- Students in their final year of graduation are eligible for UPES MET 2024, as well only if they can provide the passing certificate at the time of admission.
- Aspirants who would have qualified in any one of the exams, like CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ NMAT by GMAC/GMAT either the same or the previous year, will be exempted from appearing for UPES MET 2024.

- Minimum 90 percentile score in MAT, NMAT, UPESMET & any other National Level Entrance Test.
- 5% seats in each program for a 25% tuition fee waiver in 1st semester

UPESMET 2024 registration process started in online mode. Candidates interested can visit the official website to register for UPES MET 2024. Candidates are advised to check the UPES MET important dates 2024 before applying for it. Candidates appearing for UPESMET exam must meet the eligibility criteria.
Application fee for UPESMET exam is Rs. 1,350 to be paid through any one of the mentioned methods, i.e. Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. The applicants should ensure to download a copy of the form submitted for future reference.

UPES Dehradun, the test conducting body of UPESMET, has specified the UPESMET 2024 exam pattern. It consists of 140 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) questions of one mark each from four sections, namely, Quantitative, General Awareness, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and General English.
Each question will have four options and the candidates are supposed to choose only one option. The selection of multiple options will be considered incorrect.

Scoring Pattern- UPES MET 2024 exam pattern is a CBT test with multiple choice questions. There is no negative marking in UPESMET for the wrong answer, and for a correct answer, one mark will be given. No mark will be given or deducted for unattempted questions.
UPESMET 2024 Admit Card
The UPESMET exam 2024 admit card is an important document to take the exam. However, as the UPES MET is held as a centrally proctored test, the availability of the UPESMET admit card depended on the mode of the exam (offline/ online). The test link and details will be shared with candidates one day before the exam.

The result of UPES MET 2024 will be announced on the official website on the stipulated date as mentioned in the notification. UPES MET is generally conducted multiple times, and the result for each session is announced individually.

UPESMET 2024 GD and PI Process
After the declaration of UPES MET result 2024, the PI rounds will be conducted and the slot booking for the same will also be done. Also, aspirants who have applied through CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, NMAT by GMAC, and GMAT scores will be invited for GD/PI rounds to be conducted in online mode.
Shortlisted candidates will have to the online GD/PI process, else his/her candidature would be cancelled and the vacant seat will be allotted to the next suitable candidate.

In order to appear for CMAT exam 2022, you must have done a minimum of 3 years of graduation in any stream. There is no age limit set by NTA to appear for this exam. You must be a citizen of India. For executive PGDM course, you must have done graduation degree in any discipline along with 5 years of minimum experience. For PGCM course, you must have passed graduation degree in any discipline. For MBA and PGDM, you have to pass Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
Moreover, UPESMET syllabus consists of Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical Reasoning, English and General Awareness while CMAT syllabus consists of Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness + Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Optional subject). So the syllabus is more or less similar for both the examination. With hardwork and practice, you can crack the exams.

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee will release the OJEE MBA 2021 important dates in online mode on the official website. According to the important dates of OJEE MBA 2021, the registration process is likely to start tentatively from the fourth week of January, 2021. The exact dates have not yet released. The last date to fill the application from will be in the last week of April 2020.
