MAT Exam 2023 Latest Update: All India Management Association (AIMA) AIMA has released the MAT 2023 February sessions on the official website. The MAT PBT registration will be open till February 14, 2023. The registration for CBT exams for the February session is ongoing in online mode till February 21, 2023. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for MAT CBT 2 exam till February 27, 2023.

MAT PBT exam for the February session will be conducted on February 19, 2023. TheCBT 1 and CBT 2 MAT exams will be conducted onFebruary 26 and March 4, 2023. While applying for Management Aptitude Test, MAT 2023, candidates need to pay the required exam fee. MAT application fee for all candidates is Rs 1900/. Those who want to appear for more than one mode will have to pay an extra fee of Rs. 1150 per mode.

What is the MAT exam?
Management Aptitude Test ( MAT) is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT is held four times a year. The MAT score is accepted by around 600 B-schools across India for admission to their MBA and PGDM programs. This management entrance test is conducted in February, May, September, and December. Registration for the MAT February session has started.

MAT exam 2023 is normally conducted in three modes -

AIMA has prescribed the MAT 2023 eligibility criteria for the candidates who are going to appear for the MAT examination. The MAT eligibility criteria 2023 is the same for IBT modes. MAT eligibility criteria comprise the academic qualifications, age limit, and nationality which the candidates must check before they start filling out the application form.
- To apply for the examination, as per the MAT eligibility criteria 2023, a candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute or university.
- Even final-year graduation students from any stream can apply for the exam. AIMA hasn’t mentioned any age limit for the exam.
- Interestingly, one can appear for the exam as many times as he/she wants.
- There is no specific age limit for MAT 2023.

How to fill out MAT Application form 2023:
- 1st Step: Register by providing the necessary details.
- 2nd Step: Login using email, password, and date of birth, and click on the “Submit” button.
- 3rd Step: Fill Registration Form & Choices for Management Institutes(MI).
- Candidates can select as many MIs on payment of an additional fee of Rs 118.
- 4th Step: Upload Photo and Signature - photograph (20KB to 150 KB) and signature (20KB to 150 KB)
- 5th Step: Make Payment of the registration fee through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.

AIMA conducts the MAT exam in both online mode and offline modes. Candidates can select the mode at their convenience. Knowing the MAT exam pattern 2023 is a must before appearing for the exam. As per the exam pattern of MAT 2023 the exam will have a total of 200 objective-type questions (multiple choice questions) divided into five sections –

The duration of the exam is of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). Each section has 40 questions and each question carries 1 mark. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. To have insights on exam day, candidates need to take up the mock test of MAT 2023 by visiting the official website of AIMA. The major advantage of taking the MAT 2023 mock test will be that candidates will be able to access their own performance before the actual exam and are able to gauge and change their preparation strategy if felt necessary. IBT mock test will be available on the official website.
The PBT and CBT MAT admit cards will be available in online mode at the official website of MAT 2023 on February 15 and 24 respectively. The CBT 2 MAT admit card will be available from March 2, 2023. Students can download the MAT exam admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth. AIMA will not send a hard copy of the admit card to any candidate.
Details like the name of the candidate, photograph, signature, date of the exam, the name of the venue and address, etc. will be mentioned on the MAT 2023 admit card. The admit card is a must-have document as no candidate did not allow to appear for the exam without the admit card of the MAT 2023 February session.

AIMA will release the MAT result 2023 for the February session in online mode around the third week of March 2023. Candidates can download the MAT scorecard on the official website -mat.aima.in. The B-schools which accept MAT scores will shortlist the candidates as per their prescribed cutoff criterion. The MAT participating institutes will release their cut-off of MAT 2023 as soon as MAT result is announced. Basically, the candidates who meet the cutoff criterion are shortlisted for the selection process.
The MAT 2023 cut off can either be in the form of percentile or marks. The cutoff score ranges from 250 to 700 vary from institute to institute. MAT Cut off - Scores
A written test, Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) is a part of the MAT 2023 selection process. The writing test is also known as WAT (Writing Ability Test). Not all the MAT 2023 participating institutes conduct all three selection rounds. Final admission is offered on the basis of the candidate’s performance in all the rounds of the MAT 2023 selection process. GD and PI are an integral part of the MAT selection process 2023 which is conducted by various participating institutes. These rounds are usually conducted to check the interaction & communication skills and self-confidence of the candidates.
