AIMA has concluded the MAT 2022 PBT phase 2 exam, IBT and CBT 2. As per the MAT 2022 exam analysis, the PBT & CBT mode exam was moderate.
MAT 2022: All India Management Association (AIMA) has concluded the MAT exam 2022 for the May session. According to the MAT exam 2022 dates, the MAT exam for the phase 2 session was held in paper-based and computer-based mode on May 28, 2022. MAT 2022 internet-based test (IBT) was conducted till May 29.
The admit card for MAT 2022 PBT and CBT phase I was available from May 11 (4 pm), and for phase 2, the MAT exam admit card for PBT was out on May 25, and for CBT, on May 26. For IBT mode, the admit card was available till May 27, 2022, for a respective slot. To download the MAT 2022 admit card, students have to enter the MAT registration number and roll number.

What is the MAT exam?
The All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts Management Aptitude Test or popularly known as the MAT exam four times a year for admission to around 600 B-schools across India. MAT exam 2022 is a national-level MBA entrance test conducted in the month of February, May, September, and December.
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria for the MAT exam 2022 before filling out the application form. Candidates planning to appear for the single-mode MAT exam 2022 have to pay the application fee of Rs 1,650. MAT exam 2022 is normally conducted in three modes -
1) Paper Based Test (PBT)
2) Computer Based Test (CBT)
3) Internet-Based Test (IBT)
As per the exam pattern of MAT 2022, the exam includes multiple-choice questions only. MAT entrance exam paper-based exams and the computer-based exam were discontinued last year for the May and following session due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Around 20,000 candidates appear for every session in the MAT exam.

AIMA has prescribed the MAT 2022 eligibility criteria for the candidates who are going to appear for the MAT examination. The MAT eligibility criteria 2022 is the same for IBT modes. MAT eligibility criteria comprise the academic qualifications, age limit, and nationality which the candidates must check before they start filling the application form.
- To apply for the examination, as per the MAT eligibility criteria 2022, a candidate must have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized institute or university.
- Even final year graduation students from any stream can apply for the exam. AIMA hasn’t mentioned any age limit for the exam.
- Interestingly, one can appear for the exam as many times as he/she wants.
- There is no specific age limit for MAT 2022.

All India Management Association (AIMA) commenced the MAT exam registration for IBT/ PBT/CBT mode for the May session on March 29 in online mode. As per the schedule, the last date for MAT registration 2022 for PBT and CBT schedule 1 was extended till May 10 while for PBT/CBT schedule 2, it was May 23. For IBT mode, AIMA closed the MAT 2022 registration window for IBT on May 26.

How to fill out MAT Application form 2022:
- 1st Step: Register by providing the necessary details.
- 2nd Step: Login using email, password, date of birth, and click on the “Submit” button.
- 3rd Step: Fill Registration Form & Choices for Management Institutes(MI).
- Candidates can select as many MIs on payment of an additional fee of Rs 118.
- 4th Step: Upload Photo and Signature - photograph (20KB to 150 KB) and signature (20KB to 150 KB)
- 5th Step: Make Payment of registration fee through Debit / Credit Card / Net Banking.

AIMA conducts the MAT exam in both online mode and offline modes. Candidates can select the mode at their convenience. Knowing the MAT exam pattern 2022 is a must before appearing for the exam. As per the exam pattern of MAT 2022, the exam will have a total of 200 objective-type questions (multiple choice questions) divided into five sections –

The duration of the exam is of 2 hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). Each section has 40 questions and each question carries 1 mark. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates are advised to strategize their preparation as per the exam pattern of MAT 2022. It will allow them to score better in the exam.

To have insights on the exam day, candidates need to take up the mock test of MAT 2022 by visiting the official website of AIMA. The major advantage of taking the MAT 2022 mock test will be that candidates will be able to access their own performance before the actual exam and are able to gauge and change their preparation strategy if felt necessary. IBT mock test will be available on the official website.
AIMA has released the MAT IBT mode admit card in online mode. AIMA has also released MAT PBT phase 2 admit card on May 25 and CBT 2 admit card on May 26, 2022. Students can download the MAT exam admit card by entering their registration number and date of birth. AIMA will not send the hard copy of the admit card to any candidate.
Details like the name of the candidate, photograph, signature, date of the exam, the name of the venue and address, etc. will be mentioned on the MAT 2022 admit card. The admit card is a must-have document as no candidate did not allow to appear for the exam without the admit card of the MAT 2022 May session.

- Open the official website -mat.aima.in.
- Click on the "Download/ View --> MAT Admit Card" link on the menu bar.

The B-schools which accept MAT scores will shortlist the candidates as per their prescribed cutoff criterion. The MAT participating institutes will release their cut off of MAT 2022 anytime soon as MAT result is already announced. Basically, the candidates who meet the cutoff criterion are shortlisted for the selection process.
The MAT 2022 cut off can either be in the form of percentile or marks. The cutoff score ranges from 250 to 700 vary from institute to institute. MAT Cut off - Scores

Not all the MAT 2022 participating institutes conduct all three selection rounds. GD and PI are an integral part of the MAT selection process 2022 which is conducted by various participating institutes. These rounds are usually conducted to check the interaction & communication skills and self-confidence of the candidates.

It is good.It depends on the percentile also.Because some colleges consider the percentile and some consider the composite score and then they call the candidate for GD and personal interview rounds.But to get best colleges in city like chennai and bangalore,the composite score should be above 550.
