MAH MBA CET 2023: Exam Date, Cutoff, Answer Key, Merit List & Counselling

MAH MBA CET 2023: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released provisional vacancy of CAP round III of MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling in online mode on the official website- mba2023.mahacet.org.in. Earlier, authorities started offered seat acepting window through canaidates login from Apgust 12 to 14, 2023. Earlier authorities released MAH MBA CET 2023 cutoff merit list for round II for all India seats, Maharashtra and minority seats of two-year full-time Post Graduate Degree Courses in Management viz. MBA/ MMS/ PGDM for the academic year 2023-24 on August 11. Candidates can check the MAH MBA cutoff merit list by visiting the official website- mba2023.mahacet.org.in. Earlier, the authority released the MAH MBA CET provisional list for all India and Maharashtra states in online mode on July 22. 

More than 330 participating institutes accept Maharashtra CET scorecards, including SIMSREE, JBIMS, Welingkar, PUMBA, etc. for admission to the MBA programme. Applicants will be selected for admission to the respective management colleges on the basis of the merit list. CET Cell successfully conducted the MAH MBA CET 2023 on March 25 and 26 and the re-exam was held on May 6.

MAH CET Counselling 2023

Candidates must note down that the MAH CET counselling is carried out through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Candidates can register for MAH CET CAP 2023 in online mode at the official website. Candidates shall register and upload the documents in online mode to participate in the MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling through CAP. 

Only those candidates who will be meeting the minimum eligibility criteria of the MAH CET MBA cutoff will be able to register for the counselling round. Candidates whose names appear in the rank list of MAH CET MBA can participate in counselling rounds through CAP.

MAH CET MBA Cutoff

Maharashtra MAH MBA CET 2023 cut-off will be released officially by the State Common Entrance Test Cell after the announcement of the MAH CET MBA 2023 result. The cutoff of MBA admission 2023 will be released category-wise and college-wise for Maharashtra & Minority seats and All India seats. 

The MAH CET cut-off for top B-schools like JBIMS, SIMSREE, Welingkar, and PUMBA goes as high as 99.99 percentile, however, the MAH MBA CET cutoff on the lowest side remains around the 60 to 65 percentile.

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will conduct MAH CET counselling in a centralized manner. MAH CET 2023 counselling is part of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Applicants from outside Maharashtra must have a valid CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ ATMA score in order to apply for admission to MAH MBA CET 2023. The process is carried out by the State Joint Entrance Test Cell.

What is MAH MBA CET Exam?

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MAH MBA CET is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted every year for those candidates who want to take admission to MBA and MMS courses offered by the participating institutes. In order to take admission to different participating institutes, candidates have to appear for Maharashtra MBA CET 2023 exam. 

Candidates having valid scores in CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA can participate in MAH CET MBA counselling directly, for admission to MBA/ MMS/ PGDM in government, government-aided, and university-affiliated and management institutes. The MAH CET is valid for:

• University Departments of Management Education
• All Government of Maharashtra Management Education Institutes
• University Managed Management Education Institutes
• All Un-Aided Management Education Institutes covered as per the Act

MAH CET MBA Re-exam

CET Cell is conducting a MAH MBA CET re-examination for those candidates who could not complete the MAH MBA CET/ MMS CET 2023 entrance exam due to technical issues within mandatory exam time and wish to reappear. Also, those candidates other than PwD candidates got an exam time of 180 minutes instead of the mandatory 150 minutes. 

As per MAH CET 2023 exam pattern, the questions were asked from sections namely, Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. MAH MBA CET was conducted in computer-based (CBT) mode.

Eligibility Criteria

Before MAH CET MBA registration, candidates should check the eligibility criteria carefully. Only eligible candidates are able to register for the exam. Maharashtra MBA CET eligibility criteria is given below.

Qualification

Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from Universities recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

Qualifying marks

• The minimum percentage requirement in graduation is at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent while it is 45 per cent for candidates belonging to backward categories and Persons with Disability of Maharashtra State Only.

• Final year degree candidates who have appeared for the exam are also allowed to apply for the exam.

CET Cell Maharashtra re-opened the MAH MBA CET application window on April 6 for candidates who faced technical glitches. Candidates could have filled and submitted their MAH CET application form till April 14. MAH CET MBA 2023 application process earlier closed on March 6. Firstly, applicants would have to register by entering a valid e-mail ID and generating a unique password.

After the process of registration, they were required to re-login and fill in all the required details on the form. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, the conducting body of MAH MBA CET did not accept offline application form and fee sent through post/courier or for that matter, any other mode besides online submission of the Maharashtra MBA CET application form.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell announced the MAH CET MBA result 2023 in online mode on June 3. Maharashtra CET 2023 MBA result will be available in the form of All India Ranking and the scorecard carries the total percentile and score of the candidate.

The Maharashtra State CET Cell has released the MAH MBA Cutoff merit list in online mode. The participating institutes will release the cutoff of MAH MAB CET 2023 individually on its official website. CET Cell Maharashtra released MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling dates online at mba23.mahacet.org.in. The authority declared MAH MBA CET 2023 provisional merit list on July 22, 2023. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website. The final merit list of MAH MBA 2023 counselling was declared on July 27, 2023. The seat allotment round results have been declared for each CAP round separately. Qualified candidates need to participate in respective counselling rounds (CAP) in online mode.

They should log in to the website to get their Maharashtra CET 2023 seat allotment order. Candidates must report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for the verification of documents and report to the allotted college to finish the admission process.

How to register for MAH MBA CET 2023 Counselling:

• Click on "New Candidate Registration" and fill necessary details.
• A User ID and password will be generated.

MAH MBA CET 2023 Counselling Process:

The following is the process of MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling which will be conducted in three stages.

1st Stage: Registration & Fee Payment - Log in to the candidate portal by using valid credentials. They have to enter all the necessary details and upload the required documents. Then counselling fee payment has to be done as per the category. 

2nd Stage: Provisional List Announcement - The names of the shortlisted candidates are published as a provisional merit list. They can submit their grievances along with the requisite documents at the facilitation centre.

3rd Stage: Release of Final Merit List - The exam authorities will release the final merit list of MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling. Students who will be shortlisted for the CAP rounds will have to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for the document verification process and visit the allotted institute/college to complete the admission process.
