MAH MBA CET 2023: Exam Date, Admit Card, Syllabus & Pattern

MAH MBA CET 2023: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, SCETC Maharashtra conducted MAH CET MBA 2023 entrance test on March 25 and 26. Authorities will soon announce MAH MBA CET 2023 result in online mode on its official website- mbacet2023.mahacet.org. 

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test or MAH MBA CET is a state-level entrance exam that is conducted every year for those candidates who want to take admission in MBA and MMS courses offered by the participating institutes. In order to take admission in different participating institutes, candidates have to appear for Maharashtra MBA CET 2023 exam. Candidates having valid scores in CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA can participate in MAH CET MBA counselling directly, for admission MBA/MMS/PGDM in government, government aided and university-affiliated and management institutes. 

The MBA CET 2023 application form date started on February 23 onwards in online mode. MAH MBA CET will be conducted in computer-based (CBT) mode. Prior to applying for the entrance examination, the candidates must read and adhere to the MAH CET MBA eligibility. If any candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria of the MAH MBA CET 2023 exam, then they will not be allowed to appear for the same and may lose their candidature as well. As per MAH CET 2023 exam pattern, questions will be asked from sections namely, Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension. 

The MAH CET MBA 2023 result will be declared in the form of a scorecard. MBA CET 2023 scorecard will be available to download from MAH CET 2023 website by entering the application number and date of birth. More than 330 participating institutes accept Maharashtra CET scorecards, including SIMSREE, JBIMS, Welingkar, PUMBA, etc for admission to the MBA programme. Applicants will be selected for admission to the respective management colleges on the basis of the merit list. Candidates should have registered and uploaded documents in online mode to participate in the MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling through CAP. 

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will conduct MAH CET counselling in a centralized manner. MAH CET 2023 counselling is part of the Centralized Admission Process (CAP). Applicants from outside Maharashtra must have a valid CAT / MAT / CMAT / GMAT / XAT / ATMA score in order to apply for admission to MAH MBA CET 2023. The process is carried out by the State Joint Entrance Test Cell.

Eligibility Criteria

Before MAH CET MBA registration, candidates should check the eligibility criteria carefully. Only eligible candidates are able to register for the exam. Maharashtra MBA CET eligibility criteria is given below.

Qualification

Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from Universities recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

Qualifying marks

• The minimum percentage requirement in graduation is at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent while it is 45 per cent for candidates belonging to backward categories and Persons with Disability of Maharashtra State Only.

• Final year degree candidates who have appeared for the exam are also allowed to apply for the exam.

CET Cell Maharashtra has re-opened the MAH MBA CET application window on March 9. Candidates can fill and submit their MAH CET application form till March 11. Earlier, authorities opened the MAH CET MBA 2023 application form correction window on online mode on March 7. Registered candidates can edit their MAH MBA CET application form till March 8 by visiting the official website. MAH CET MBA 2023 application process closed on March 6. Firstly, applicants have to register by entering a valid e-mail ID and generating a unique password.

After the process of registration, they are required to re-login and fill in all the required details on the form. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, the conducting body of MAH MBA CET will not accept offline application form and fee sent through post/courier or for that matter, any other mode besides online submission of the Maharashtra MBA CET application form.

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State will specify the exam pattern of MAH MBA CET 2023. As per the previous year MAH MBA CET exam pattern, the exam will be conducted in online mode for a duration of 150 minutes.

• Maharashtra MBA CET comprises multiple choice objective-type questions.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell will announce the MAH CET MBA result 2023 in online mode. Maharashtra CET 2023 MBA result will be available in the form of All India Ranking and the scorecard carries the total percentile and score of the candidate.

Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline

CET Cell Maharashtra will declare MAH MBA CET 2023 final merit list in online mode. Candidates can check the same by visiting the official website.

The seat allotment round results will be declared for each CAP round separately. Qualified candidates need to participate in respective counselling rounds (CAP) in online mode.

They should log in to the website to get their Maharashtra CET 2023 seat allotment order. Candidates must report to the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for the verification of documents and report to the allotted college to finish the admission process.

How to register for MAH MBA CET 2023 Counselling:

• Click on "New Candidate Registration" and fill necessary details.
• A User ID and password will be generated.
• Now, log in to the website to fill the Maharashtra MBA CET 2023 counselling form.

MAH MBA CET 2023 Counselling Process:

The following is the process of MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling which will be conducted in three stages.

1st Stage: Registration & Fee Payment - Log in to the candidate portal by using the valid credentials. They have to enter all the necessary details and upload the required documents. Then counselling fee payment has to be done as per the category. 

2nd Stage: Provisional List Announcement - The names of the shortlisted candidates are published as a provisional merit list. They can submit their grievances along with the requisite documents at the facilitation centre.

3rd Stage: Release of Final Merit List - The exam authorities will release the final merit list of MAH MBA CET 2023 counselling. Students who will be shortlisted for the CAP rounds will have to report at the Admission Reporting Centre (ARC) for the document verification process and visit the allotted institute/college to complete the admission process.

• Candidates will be able to select a maximum of three choices of colleges.
• Once the choice is locked, it will not be changed.
• They need to accept the seat allotment after the seat gets allocated as per their preferences.
