We are prepared IPMAT in one month

Manisha Gupta Expert 24th Mar, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Here are some of the preparation tips you can follow:

Focus on section wise topics: In the last 3 years, the exam pattern had changed from the initial years. You should know the complete syllabus.
Quantitative Ability: This section has topics like Arithmetic, Algebra, APGP, Trigonometry, Mensuration, Geometry etc.
Verbal Ability: The questions are based on Reading Comprehension and English Usage. There are chances that the questions on Synonym-Antonym would be a bit difficult, so focus on improvising the same. The rest of the topics include Para Jumble, Grammar, Fill in the blanks, Word usage, and Para completion.
Your preparation level and scores are well reflected through your mock tests. How you are performing, which section you face troubles, notice the weak areas and focus on the weakness in the last week.
There is no section wise time limit of the test, hence you have to be careful about the time management factor. Divide the time wisely between the two sections while solving mocks. Allot time to each section and save the last 15 minutes for revision. Follow the same through the last week and on the test day.

Good Luck!

ADIL KHAN Student Expert 23rd Mar, 2020

Hii

You have plenty of time in Hand but managing it right is important, fix targets and achieve them on a dialy basis.

The IPMAT or the Integrated program management ability test is highly competitive exam . There about 66 seats for the general cateogory and 120 in total .

The entrance test for getting admissions in the 5 year integrated course of the Indian Institute of management Indore is quite difficult and you have to study vigourously for clearing the entrance test to gt a seat in IIM. For the maths part you need to get your class 11th and 12th maths basics clear by your boards books prescribed by the boards or you can do R.D sharma complete to have a throurgh knowledge . For english you can do the book ' Word Power Made easy ' as it helps for the verbal aptitude part . Doing this will ensure you getting a lot of marks. Futhermore you have to get use to reading newspapers like the hindu or the indian express and the economic times. Which option should I select while filling in the application form ( pcm or pcb) if i have opted for pcmb in my 12th??

Nikki Nair 21st Mar, 2020

Hello Aspirant

If you are planning to give IPMAT you should follow some basic criteria and they are as follows

  1. Qualifying exam
  2. Age
  3. Minimum percentage of marks required

So ,While filling the application there is no such criteria that only students with Maths can apply for IPMAT.

For general category you will require minimum of 60% in 12th  and 55% in case of sc/st/pwd.

So you can select any subject and you will still be eligible.
