IIFT 2024: Application Form, Admit Card, Exam Dates, Result, Cut Off

IIFT 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the IIFT 2024 exam most likely in the second week of December 2023, in a single session. The IIFT entrance exam is conducted for admission to the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade’s MBA-International Business which is a full-time MBA course of 2 years. The NTA will conduct the IIFT 2024 entrance exam in 68 cities across India.

The authority is expected to commence the registration process of IIFT 2024 tentatively in the second week of September 2023. The candidates who completed a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST) are eligible to apply for IIFT 2024. To complete the IIFT 2024 registration process, applicants should pay an IIFT 2024 application fee of Rs 2,500, in online mode (Rs 1,250 for SC/ ST).

Around 35,000 candidates are expected to apply for the IIFT exam this year. Last year 30,622 candidates applied for the IIFT entrance exam, out of which 26,070 candidates appeared. The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade has an intake of more than 700 students at its IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata campuses.

What is IIFT Entrance Exam?

The full form of the IIFT exam is the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Admission Test. IIFT 2024 is the mandatory MBA entrance test for admission to MBA (IB) 2024-26 batch, in both the IIFT campuses. The NTA conducts the IIFT exam on behalf of the institute. IIFT MBA (IB) 2024 entrance exam will be held in a single session as a computer-based test. 

The IIFT question paper consists of 110 questions on Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and General Awareness. The duration of the IIFT 2024 exam will be of 2 hours (120 minutes) with a maximum mark of 300.

Candidates who wish to apply for IIFT 2024, must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Given below eligibility criteria can be checked by candidates for IIFT 2024 entrance exam;

• Educational Qualification: General category candidates with a minimum 3-year graduation degree in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized university/ institute/ college are eligible to apply. The IIFT 2024 registration will begin from the last week of September 2023 in online mode and the last date to register for the IIFT exam 2024 will be closed in the last week of November 2023. While registering for IIFT 2024, candidates will be required to enter personal details to create login credentials. 

How to fill out the IIFT 2024 application form?

The IIFT 2024 application process can be completed using the below-mentioned steps:

• Candidates need to do a primary registration by filling in their personal details, contact number, email id, and password.
• In the second step, candidates need to fill in the academic and personal details.
• The third step is the payment of the application fee i.e. Rs. 2500 for General and OBC Category candidates and Rs. 1250 for SC, ST, and PWD category candidates. The application fee has been paid via net banking, credit card, debit card, and DD. The application fee for foreign nationals and NRIs is Rs. 15,000 which is US$200.
• In the fourth and final step of the IIFT application form, candidates are required to upload a scanned copy of their photograph (size: not more than 50KB) and signature (size: not more than 20KB) in JPEG/JPG format.
• Make sure that contact number(s) and email id are entered correctly as all communication related to the exam has been sent to those only.

Candidates who going to appear for the IIFT exam 2024, must be familiar with the latest exam pattern of IIFT. The exam pattern of IIFT 2024 helps to know the topics covered in the exam, syllabus, and marking scheme and they can strategize their preparation accordingly. Exam Pattern of IIFT 2024:

• IIFT exam has four sections - Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, General Knowledge and Current Affairs,  Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability.
• The duration of the IIFT MBA exam is two hours - There will be no sectional time limit. The total marks for the exam will be 100. The number of questions keeps changing every year. Last year, the exam had 114 questions. The exam will have only multiple-choice questions.
• According to the IIFT 2024 exam pattern, there is negative marking for wrong answers and there is a differential marking scheme.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the admit card of IIFT 2024 tentatively in the second week of December 2023, in online mode. Registered candidates will be able to download their IIFT 2024 admit card by using login credentials at iift.nta.nic.in.

The IIFT exam admit card includes all the details pertaining to the entrance exam such as the candidate’s roll number, reporting time, exam centre details, and exam day guidelines.

IIFT 2024 admit card - Important Instruction

• The admit card for the IIFT 2024 exam will be available only after the completion of the registration process.
• Candidates can download the IIFT admit card 2024 with the help of their registered id and date of birth.
• Candidates need to carry the admit card to the IIFT exam centre on the day of the exam along with a photo id proof - Driving License, Aadhar id card, Election id card, Passport, etc.
• Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to write the IIFT exam 2024.
• Candidates need to keep the admit card till the end of the admission process as it would be required at every stage of the admission

NTA will release the provisional IIFT answer key 2024 will be issued in the second week of January 2024, in online mode. The IIFT 2024 answer key will be available in PDF format. The IIFT 2024 answer key will carry the question number, question ID, and correct answer to each question in all four sections of the IIFT question paper. Candidates have to visit the official website of NTA to download the IIFT 2024 answer key.

After receiving the answer key of IIFT 2024, the candidates can match their answers with the help of the response sheet and they can check if the tried answer is incorrect. Accordingly, candidates can challenge the IIFT answer key by providing adequate proof within a stipulated time.

• Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- per answer key for a challenging question.

Steps to download the IIFT exam 2024 answer key

• To download the answer key of IIFT 2024, visit the official website of NTA - iift.nta.nic.in.
• Now, find and click the "Download - Answer Key of IIFT 2024" on the homepage.
• It will carry the candidates to the login page. From there, they have to enter their IIFT login credentials to enter into the dashboard.
• In the dashboard, find the download answer key link and click on it.
• Finally, the NTA IIFT 2024 answer key will download in a pdf format.

The IIFT final answer key in the first week of February 2024, in online mode.

The IIFT result 2024 will be announced by NTA in online mode tentatively in the first week of February 2024. Candidates will be able to know the result and download the IIFT scorecard by entering their login credentials such as IIFT application number and date of birth. 

Later then, IIFT will release the names of shortlisted candidates for the second round of interviews. More details are given below:

• Candidates can check the IIFT result 2024 on the official website of the IIFT exam.
• The result will be available in the form of a scorecard where candidates can check the sectional as well as the overall score.
• Candidates can download the IIFT exam scorecard in the form of a pdf file by logging in to the official website with their seven-digit IIFT roll number and date of birth.
• On the basis of the score, candidates will be shortlisted for the selection rounds - Writing Test, GD, and PI. 
• The final IIFT 2024 result or selection will be based on the overall performance in all the rounds.

How to check IIFT 2024 results?

1. First, visit the official website of NTA IIFT 2024.
2. Next, find and click the link called "IIFT 2024 NTA Score".
3. It will redirect candidates to the result page. From there, candidates have to enter their IIFT application number, date of birth, and security pin.
4. Then click the "Submit" button to view the IIFT exam result 2024.
5. Download the IIFT scorecard and take a printout of it for future reference.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will release the cutoff for the selection process of admission along with the list of shortlisted candidates. The list of shortlisted candidates will be available on the official website of IIFT.

National Testing Agency, NTA the conducting body of the IIFT exam will announce the IIFT 2024 cutoff along with the result which is likely to be declared in online mode. Given below details can be checked by candidates with reference to the cutoff of IIFT 2024:

• The minimum marks required to qualify for the selection rounds will be called the IIFT 2024 cutoff
• The cutoff depends on various factors including the difficulty level of the test, the total number of test-takers, the number of seats available, etc
• Candidates who meet the IIFT cutoff criterion as announced by IIFT Delhi will be called for the selection rounds - Writing test, GD, and PI 
• The shortlisted candidates will be assigned a centre for the selection rounds. The list of centres may include Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, etc.,
• The cutoff of IIFT 2024 will be different for each category.

The selection process for IIFT 2024 will start after the announcement of the result.  

• Based on the IIFT 2024 cutoff, candidates will be shortlisted for the selection process
• The IIFT 2024 selection process will include - Writing test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview
• The weightage given to each round is different. And the final selection of a candidate will be based on the overall performance in all the rounds including the IIFT 2024

Both Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round are an integral part of the selection process of IIFT 2024. Tentatively, the selection process will be conducted in the month of March/ April 2024. And the final IIFT 2024 result, the list of selected candidates for admission, is likely to be announced in the month of May.

GD and PI rounds are conducted to judge the communication skills, confidence level, interaction skills, personality, and possibly the knowledge of current affairs of the candidates. Apart from the writing test which is also part of the selection process, candidates need to perform well in these two rounds to get the admission offer. 

For the writing test, GD and PI, IIFT Delhi will allocate the centres to the shortlisted candidates. These centres will be - Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, etc.
