About DU JAT 2020

National Testing Agency will conduct Delhi University conducts DU JAT (Delhi University Joint Admission Test) annually for shortlisting candidates for admission to the undergraduate management programmes at Delhi University’s affiliated B-Schools from June 2 to 9, 2020. DU JAT 2020, the two-hour online (Computer-Based) exam is conducted across 18 cities in India for admissions to six stipulated colleges, offering Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), and eight other colleges which offer B. A (Hons) in Business Economics and BBA (FIA) programmes. DU JAT 2020 will consist of 100 questions and total marks allotted will be 300. The test takers will encounter four sections, namely Quantitative Ability, Reasoning & Analytical Ability, General English, and Business & General Awareness. The total number of available seats are 1162 approximately across 15 participating institutes of DU JAT 2020.

The application form for DU JAT 2020 will be released on April 2 and the last date for filling it is April 30. The admit card of DU JAT will be released on May 15 and the result will be announced on June 25.

According to the DU JAT 2020 eligibility criteria, candidates should complete their higher secondary education in any stream (Science, Humanities, and Commerce) from a recognised board and obtain a minimum score of 60 per cent in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the DU JAT application form 2020 on April 2, and the last date for filling it will be April 30. The DU JAT 2020 application form is made available in online mode alone. The primary documents required to fill the application form are-

  • Class XII mark sheet
  • Caste  Certificate, if required (Self-attested)

Delhi University will formulate the DU JAT 2020 exam pattern. As per the exam pattern of DU JAT 2020, it will be a two-hour computer-based online exam held annually in one day; two slots across 18 cities in India. Candidates will encounter 100 multiple choice questions (MCQ) carrying a total of 400 marks.

Marking Scheme- According to the exam pattern of DU JAT 2020, for every correct answer, candidates will secure +4 and each incorrect answer will fetch a deduction of -1. For unattempted questions, candidates will not be marked.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the DU JAT 2020 admit card in online mode only on May 15 and no hard copy of the same is mailed to the test takers separately. Only the candidates who successfully submit their online application form by paying the exact application fee via online mode within the application deadline are eligible to download the admit card of DU JAT 2020. The candidates need to take two printouts of the admit card as they need to get both the copies signed by the invigilator at the examination centre on the exam day.

After the completion of DU JAT 2020, Delhi University will release the answer key. The answer key of DU JAT 2020 enables the test takers to tally their answers and estimate scores. Candidates can also gauge their chances of getting shortlisted for the counselling procedure at the DU JAT 2020 participating institutes.

By following the steps mentioned below, candidates can download the DU JAT 2020 answer key-

  • Visit the official website

  • Log in to the web account using their credentials to be created during the DU JAT 2020 registration procedure.

  • Answers should be checked and verified with the official DU JAT answer key 2020.

National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the DU JAT 2020 result in the form of rank and qualification status of the test takers on June 25. Thereafter, the participating institutes will start selecting students based on their scores obtained in DU JAT and Class XII board examination. The result of DU JAT 2020 will be released online and consist of names of candidates, the number of questions attempted by them, number of correct and incorrect attempts, total marks secured, percentage and equated percentage. In order to check the college, course allotment and the admission schedule, test takers will require to log in to the official web account using application number and login password provided during the registration and check their final DI JAT 2020 result.

The cutoff is the minimum marks/scores a candidate requires to secure to qualify the exam in order to fetch a seat in one of the participating institutes of DU JAT 2020. The process of admission that would be followed after the declaration of the DU JAT 2020 cutoff score is Course-College Allotment. As per Delhi University, the exam conducting authority, all test takers are required to fill the application form stating their order of preference of course and college in the online application form.

Yes, Maths is compulsory for one to have as a subject in class 12th for applying and appearing for the DU-JAT entrance test conducted by the University of Delhi. for admissions to its various courses like -BMS/BFIA/BBE .It is one of the eligibility criteria for the test.

The examination consists of 4 sections namely -
