CMAT 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CMAT exam 2024 for admission to MBA/PGDM 2024-26 batch in the AICTE approved management institutes. CMAT 2024 exam is a national level test conducted annually, in online mode at multiple examination centres across India. The CMAT entrance examination will have 100 questions equally divided into five sections of twenty multiple choice questions in each section. This speed based entrance test includes questions from quantitative aptitude, data interpretation skills, logical reasoning, verbal ability, English language comprehension, innovation and entrepreneurship and general knowledge. More than 1500 colleges across the country accept CMAT exam scores.

NTA will release the CMAT 2024 notification tentatively in the first week of February 2024. The CMAT exam 2024 application form will be released on the official website -cmat.nta.nic.in. The CMAT 2024 exam is likely to be conducted in the last week of May 2024.

What is CMAT?

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) entrance test was conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the MBA/ PGDM program. National Testing Agency (NTA) will release CMAT 2024 application form in its official website - cmat.nta.nic.in. Candidates can complete the registration process by paying CMAT 2024 registration fees of Rs. 2000 General/ EWS/OBC-NCL (Male) and Rs 1,000 for the female, transgender, and reserved category candidates. Step 1: NTA CMAT exam Registration - Use the 'New Candidate Registration’ link to go to the CMAT 2024 Registration Form. Enter all the personal details (Name, Email ID, Phone Number), create a password, and choose the security question and answer to complete NTA CMAT 2024 registration.

NOTE: Upon successful CMAT exam registration, NTA will issue the CMAT exam application number to be used for login.

Step 2: Apply for CMAT- Using login credentials (Application Number and Password), log in to the application form page to fill in other details as required. Four test cities must also be chosen as per preference.

Step 3: Uploading of Documents - Scanned images of photograph, signature, and PwD certificate, if applicable must be uploaded as per specifications.

Documents to carry with CMAT admit card 2024:

The following documents must be carried by all candidates on the CMAT exam day and shown on demand else they will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

1. Passport-size photograph (same as uploaded on the Online Application Form). This will be pasted on the attendance sheet at the exam centre during CMAT 2024.

2. Any valid and non-expired authorized Govt photo IDs in original- PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card

3. PwD certificate (if applicable)

Note: If the name of the candidate has changed due to events such as marriage etc, such candidates must show the relevant documents at the time of the exam like Marriage Certificate / Divorce / Decree / Legal Name Change Document.

• Candidates can also try clearing the browser cache and try again.

Steps to take in case of discrepancy in CMAT 2024 admit card

• Candidates who find any discrepancy in the details mentioned on the CMAT exam admit card 2024 must call and mail the NTA helpline.

• They will be allowed to write CMAT 2024 with the downloaded admit card but will need to coordinate with NTA for correction.

• While mailing NTA for corrections, candidates must attach a copy of their application form for the CMAT exam and the admit card to clearly indicate the discrepancies.

Steps to Challenge CMAT 2024 Answer Key

• With the release of the CMAT answer key 2024, candidates can file an objection to the given answers.

• They must log in and indicate the answers they have objections to.

• They must pay a fee of Rs 200 per question.

• The proof of their objection must also be uploaded in a file of less than 1 MB in size in .jpg, .png, .pdf format only.

• Payment of the fee can be via debit card/credit card/net banking.

The final answer key of CMAT 2024 will be released after the consideration of the objections received.

As per the trends of last year, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will not release the CMAT cutoff to shortlist candidates for the selection procedure; however, the affiliated institutes will declare their respective CMAT cutoff after the result gets officially announced. 

The cutoff of the CMAT exam is the minimum score or percentile candidates need to obtain for attaining admission into MBA and PGDM courses offered by management institutes across India. The factors that will determine the CMAT 2024 cutoff are-
