The expected cut off Welingkar is 80 percentile in cmat, if I get less than 80 percentile in cmat.. will i get call for gd/pi from Wellingkar..?

Sampriti Student Expert 24th Jan, 2020
Though the expected cutoff for Prin LN Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research Mumbai is 80 percentile in CMAT  but the shortlisting for the subsequent selection rounds is entirely based on a student's profile. So if you score a little less than 80 percentile but have an excellent profile then also you can get a call. But try to score as much as possible to be on the safer side as the college gives a call only to the students having the best profiles and the seats for CMAT are also lesser as compared to other exams like CAT.

what are the best options for preparation of cmat gk section?

Pranav Mishra 18th Jan, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

GK in CMAT is a scoring subject which can be used to increase your percentile, I am also an example of the one who has increased the percentile of CMAT by scoring good in GK, So take GK section seriously, Now for GK section in CMAT questions comes from both static GK and current affairs, Static GK is a vast topic so I will not tell you give more time cover all the topics of it, However you can spent the time in current affairs as that will be generally of last 1 year and it will not difficult to cover it, So, I advise you to cover current affairs of 1 year with some static GK which you can cover in time. Work hard.

I hope the above information is beneficial for you.

All the best.

what will be the cut off for great lakes gurgaon CMAT??

jishua thomas 17th Jan, 2020

hello aspirant..

Great Lakes PGPM Admission: Difference between Cycle-1 & Cycle-2 Application
The Cycle-1 and Cycle-2 of application process is distinguished based on the scores with which you are applying. If a candidate has last year exam score, for example for admission 2020, if you have scores of CAT 2018, XAT 2019, CMAT 2019 and GMAT (taken after 1st Jan 2017), you must apply in cycle-1.

But, if you have appeared in CAT 2019, XAT 2020 and GMAT (taken after 1st Dec. 2019), you need to apply in Cycle 2.

While in terms of the selection process, there is no preference given to applicants in any cycle and there is similar probability of getting selected, the applicants submitting application in Cycle 1 get some extra time to plan their finances, personal commitments and exit from companies better as they get an admission offer by end of December.

Entrance Exam 1 Year PGPM Expected cut off 2 Years PGDM Expected Cut off
CAT 2018/2019* 80 80
XAT 2019/2020* 80 80
GMAT **(Taken after Jan 2017 for PGPM and after Jan 2018 for PGDM) 600 600
CMAT 2019 for PGPM and CMAT 2019/2020 for PGDM 85 85
