AMAT 2023 Exam - Dates, Application Form, Admit Card, Result, Cut Off

AMAT 2023: Alliance Management Aptitude Test, better known as AMAT is a standardized test conducted by the Alliance School of Business to select candidates for the MBA programme at Alliance School of Business, Bangalore. 

The application form forJanuary cycle phase 3 is ongoing. Candidates can fill out the AMAT 2023 application form till December 31. For the July session,candidates can apply till January 31, 2023.Alliance AMAT 2023 is a pen-paper-based exam of 60 minutes and comprises distinct four sections, namely Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge, and General English including Reading Comprehension. 

The test is composed of around 65 multiple-choice questions; each carrying 1 and 2 marks. Each correct answer carries a +1 mark whereas each incorrect answer will face a penalty of -0.25 mark. Alliance AMAT 2023 will be conducted to select students for the academic session of MBA/PGDM 2023 (January and July Intake).

Aspirants planning to appear for Alliance AMAT 2023 need to fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting authority, Alliance School of Business, Bangalore.

Following are the eligibility criteria for appearing in Alliance AMAT 2023-

• Obtain a Graduate degree from any recognized college/university
• 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate across domains.
• Candidates are also required to take any one of the following entrance exams: AMAT/ CAT/ NMAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ KMAT.

Application Fees

Alliance School of Business, Bangalore conducts AMAT (Alliance Management Aptitude Test) in offline mode. The total duration of Alliance AMAT 2023 is 60 minutes/ one hour and comprises four sub-sections, namely Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge, and General English including Reading Comprehension.

• The test is composed of 65 multiple-choice questions; each carrying 1 mark. As per the Alliance AMAT 2023 exam pattern, the total marks allotted to the exam are 65.
• Each correct answer will fetch a +1 mark whereas each incorrect response will call for a deduction of -0.25 mark.
• The weightage of Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge and General English is 15 for each section and 5 for Comprehension.

Alliance School of Business, Bangalore, the conducting authority of AMAT 2023 will release the answer key of AMAT 2023 after the exam gets conducted. This exercise is performed so that the test takers can check their answers and estimate the scores; in turn understand the possibility of getting admission in MBA/PGDM courses at ASB, Bangalore.

The AMAT result 2023 will be released by Alliance School of Business, Bangalore, which would be followed by further selection rounds, namely Oral Extempore Presentation, Essay Writing Skills, and Personal Interview Performance. The result of Alliance AMAT 2023 will consist of the overall and individual scores obtained by test takers in exam.

The admission officials of Alliance School of Business, Bangalore conduct the selection process post-AMAT 2023 exam to select candidates both for their MBA and PGDM programmes.

The selection process for Alliance AMAT 2023 consists of three sections-

• Essay Writing - This round is to evaluate candidates' written communication as they would be asked to write an essay on selected topics, provided by the admission panel.
• Oral Extempore Presentation - This is conducted to evaluate candidates' spoken communication. Candidates would be asked to make an oral presentation on select topics, provided by the admission panel.
• Personal Interview - Personal Interview (PI) round is the final step in the selection process. The overall personality of a candidate would be evaluated.
