XAT 2020 - XLRI Jamshedpur announced the XAT result 2020 in online mode on January 16. Candidates can download the scorecard by entering the XAT id and password. The authorities earlier in the day announced that there was no change in the answer key of XAT 2020 that was released on January 9. Authorities closed the objection window of XAT 2020 answer key on January 11. Candidates could download the response sheet by entering the registered XAT id and password on January 7. XAT 2020 was conducted the Xavier Aptitude Test, better known as XAT 2020 on January 5. As per the XAT exam analysis and expected cutoff 2020, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. Most of the students found the quantitative ability section quite difficult as compared to verbal ability and decision making was ambiguous. XAT is a national level entrance test which is held annually for admission in postgraduate management programmes in 150 management institutions that accept XAT score. The authorities released the mock test for XAT 2020 in online mode on January 1. Earlier the institute had released admit card of XAT 2020 on December 20, 2019. The authorities closed the registration for XAT 2020. Earlier the last date to register for XAT 2020 was extended to December 30, 2020. Earlier, the registration for XAT 2020 was released on August 23. XAT admit card 2020 was available for downloading from December 20 to January 3. As per the exam pattern, XAT 2020, questions were asked from verbal ability and logical reasoning, decision making, quantitative ability and data interpretation and general knowledge. Around 75,000 candidates are expected to have appeared for the examination across 71 cities. According to XAT 2020, there has been an increase in the total number of cities where the entrance exam will be held. The test will be conducted in 71 cities. Last year the exam was conducted in 45 cities.

The result of XAT 2020 has been declared in online mode on January 16, 2020. Candidates can check the result from the official website using their XAT ID and password. The scorecards is available for download till March 31. XAT 2020 scorecard has the sectional, as well as the overall percentile. XLRI Jamshedpur, the exam conducting body, might also send the hard copy of XAT scorecard to the candidates’ registered address if requested by paying Rs. 300 by Demand Draft in favour of XLRI Jamshedpur, payable at Jamshedpur. Candidates are advised to preserve the scorecard until the admission process gets over.
XAT Cut off for GMP Programme of last year - 68 percentile
Last year, the cutoff for XLRI Jamshedpur was released online on January 21, 2019. It is likely to release for XAT 2020 around the same time in January 2020. The XAT 2020 cutoff percentile depends on multiple factors such as difficulty level of the exam, the number of test takers and a number of seats offered in the programme among others. XAT 2020 score will be accepted by more than 150 B-schools in the country. The participating institutes are either Xavier Associate Management Institutes (XAMI) or Non-XAMI. Last year, the number of XAMI was 11 and number of non-XAMI was 145. Here are some of the top colleges in the list:

The selection procedure of XAT 2020 for all the participating institutes will begin after the announcement of the result and cutoff. It’s important for the candidates to know that the selection process of colleges may vary each other. Usually, it’a two-step process.
First, candidates would be shortlisted on the basis of their XAT score and cutoff of the specific institute. Then, the shortlisted candidates would be called for Writing Ability Test (WAT) or Essay Writing or Group Discussion/Group Activity and Personal Interview rounds.
Some participating institutes conduct GD and PI for the final selection while some conduct WAT and PI. It varies from institute to institute. The B-schools may also consider criteria like past academic records, work experience or the overall profile of a candidate.
XAT 2020 final answer key remains unchanged as has been notified by the authorities on January 16. XLRI Jamshedpur has released the official answer key for XAT 2020 on January 9 and candidates could raise objections against it till January 11 (till 11:59 p.m). Also, authorities had released the candidate response sheet of XAT 2020 in online mode on January 7. Candidates can download the response sheet by entering the XAT login id and password. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the answers marked by them and also the actual correct responses using the XAT key. It will allow them to estimate the list of probable colleges they’re likely to get a call from based on their score.
XLRI has offered the facility to file objections and challenge the answer key of XAT for candidates. To raise objections, candidates must write to email@example.com. While raising the objection, candidates must mention the following details-
a. XAT ID
b. Full Name
c. Question ID
d. Mention the objection you have on the particular question and response
e. Enclose the evidence for the objection
f. Mention the subject line of the email as <XAT ID> Objection <Question ID>
The analysis of XAT 2020 and expected cutoff indicates that the overall exam was moderately difficult. Most of the candidates found the quantitative ability section as most difficult followed by decision making and easiest was verbal ability. There were 75 questions in Part A and 25 in part B which was of general knowledge. As such there were no technical glitches in most of the exam centres except for few where the exam started a few minutes late.
Candidates can appear for XAT 2020 mock test in online mode. The link of the mock test has been given above. With the help of XAT mock test 2020, candidates will get an idea about how to navigate between the sections, how to answer the questions. It will also help them to know what are the type of questions that need to be asked. By practising the mock test of XAT candidates will not face much difficulty on the day of the exam.
The hall ticket of XAT 2020 can be downloaded from the official website of XAT from December 20 to January 3.It is available for download only for the candidates who successfully fill the XAT application form along with the application fee. Candidates must log in using their XAT ID and password to download the document. Without XAT 2020 admit card, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam. XAT admit card has the candidate’s name, date of birth and contact details mentioned along with the test centre name and address. Exam day instructions will also be mentioned on the admit card of XAT 2020.
XAT 2020 was a computer-based test (online) of 180 minutes duration. The exam comprises of four sections, namely VA & LR, DM, QA & DI, and GK. From last year onwards, the Essay writing section has been removed from the exam. The table below explains the exam pattern of XAT 2020 in-depth:

Management aspirants who wish to seek admission through XAT entrance exam, must fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed by XLRI Jamshedpur.
One must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised board or university. The duration of the graduation should be a at least of three years.
Final year graduation students can also apply for XAT 2020 if they complete their degree by June 2020.
XLRI has not prescribed any age limit to apply for the exam under the XAT eligibility criteria 2019.

Registration for XAT 2020 has finally been closed now. The registration for XAT 2020 commenced in online from August 23, 2019. The last date of the application process has been extended till midnight of December 10, 2019. Earlier the last date of registration without late fee was November 30. The authorities have mentioned that the last date to change the XAT test centre is on or before November 30.
Steps for XAT Application Process are as given below-
Visit the official site of XAT (xatonline.in) or click on the link given above (link will be available in this article as soon as XAT 2020 registrations open)
Enter basic information like name and contact details to register.
The login credentials will be sent via SMS and email on the registered phone number and email ID.
Log in again to the website and complete the XAT 2020 application process.
To complete the application process, candidates would need to enter personal details, academic details, and professional details. They would also need to select XLRI programmes (optional), and upload photograph and signature.
Finally, pay the application fee.
XAT application process is conducted in two stages. The first stage is the ‘Early’ stage and the second is ‘Late’ application stage. The application fee for the late stage is higher than that of the original application window.
The XAT application fee last year was Rs. 1700 (without late fee). According to last year XAT exam fees, the application received after the deadline had to include the late application fee of Rs. 2000.
For each XLRI programmes, candidates need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 300. The late applications would be charged Rs. 500.
The application fee for XAT 2020 is likely to remain along the same lines. Payment Modes - Candidates need to pay the fee online through Credit Cards, Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), and Internet Banking.

IMI Bhubhneswar is a good college and you will be able to get a call letter from the college if you have secured 60 percentile in any of the mba entrance exam.
