XAT Admit Card 2020 - XLRI Jamshedpur will be releasing the admit card of XAT 2020 tentatively in the third week of December 2019. Details about the entrance examination along with other information will be present in the XAT 2020 admit card. Candidates will be able to download their XAT admit card 2020 by providing their XAT ID and password. It must be noted that the admit card of XAT 2019 will be available only in online mode for registered candidates. The final date to download the admit card will be tentatively in the first week of January 2020. XAT will be conducted as a computer-based examination tentatively on the first Sunday of January 2020. XAT 2020 will be conducted to provide admissions into the 11 member institutes and more than 150 other B-schools of the country. The result will be announced tentatively in the third week of January 2020.

The admit card of XAT 2020 will be released tentatively in the third week of December 2019. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by following the given steps:
The link to check the XAT 2020 admit card will be made available here as soon as it is released by the authorities.
The candidates will have to click on “Login” and provide their XAT ID and password.
The admit card of XAT 2020 will be made available in the system after successfully submitting the XAT ID and password.
The admit card should be checked for any discrepancies. If there is any mistake, the candidates will have to contact XAT officials from XLRI Jamshedpur.
Click on “Download Admit Card”
The candidates will have to print out copies of the admit card for reference and to present it at the examination centre.
The candidates will be able to check the following details in the admit card of XAT 2020:
XAT ID and password (to be used for login in the computer at the exam centre)
Name of the candidate
Photograph and signature of the candidates
Reporting time and examination time
Demo exam time and exam time
Name and address of the centre
Instructions and guidelines for the examination day
Candidates have to make sure to keep the admit card of XAT 2020 safely since it is an important document. Entry into the examination centre will not be allowed if the candidate does not produce the admit card. Details regarding the entrance examination will also be available in the admit card along with other important information. After the examination, the admit card may be required during the counselling and allotment process. Therefore, the candidates are advised to keep the XAT 2020 admit card safe till the entire admission procedure is over.
The authorities will not accept request for change in examination centre under any circumstances.
No candidate will be allowed inside the exam centre without the admit card. Along with the admit card, the candidates will also have to produce their original photo identification card i.e., Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport etc.
After the scheduled time of commencement of the examination, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination centre.
Candidates appearing for XAT 2020 are requested to check their eligibility in all respects so as to avoid disappointment at any later stage. The candidature of the candidate can be rejected at any stage if the eligibility criteria is not fulfilled.
At the examination centre, the candidates are not allowed to bring or use electronic devices such as mobile phone, microphone or any other associated accessories. Calculator, log tables, pager, digital diary books etc will also not be allowed inside the examination hall. If any of the mentioned devices/documents are found, then the candidates will be disqualified from the examination. The authorities will not be responsible for any such devices/documents.
A recent colour passport size photograph has to be pasted on the space given in the admit card. The photograph has to be similar to the one used in the application form.
The candidates will have to sign in the provided space in the presence of the invigilator at the exam centre.
Q: Who should I contact if I am unable to download my admit card?
Ans: If you are unable to download the admit card then you can contact the authorities through email ([email protected]) or toll free number (1800 419 2929 between 8 AM and 8 PM).
Q: What should I do if I forgot my password while downloading the admit card?
Ans: If the candidates have forgotten their password, then they will have to click on the “Forgot Password” tab. After entering their email address, a link will be sent to the candidates through which they can reset their password. The candidates should be aware of the fact that the XAT ID and password gives them individual logins on xatonline.in and on frequent intervals, they need to check for emails from XAT & other associated institutes, if any.
Q: Is it required for me to paste my photograph on the admit card after printing it?
Ans: Yes. The candidates will have to paste the same photograph as used in the application form on the admit card after printing it out. However, the candidates will have to sign in front of the invigilator at the exam centre.
Q: Can I carry a photocopy of my ID?
Ans: No. The original photograph ID has to be provided at the examination centre.
Q: Which details should be mentioned by the candidates when writing to the authorities about a problem in the admit card?
Ans: Contact details, full name, date of birth and XAT ID has to be mentioned while contacting the authorities about a problem in the admit card. The details should be as per the application form.
The candidates are advised to report to their examination centre at least an hour before the examination time.
The instructions have to be followed by the candidates otherwise they might get disqualified.
The candidates will have to occupy the seat on which their CRN (Centre Registration Number) is mentioned.
During the examination, the rough work has to be done in the margins of the OMR sheet.
Cheating will not be allowed.
Negative marks for unattempted questions will be distributed proportionately across the three sections.
Candidates who finish the examination before the allotted time will still not be allowed to leave the exam centre.
XAT 2020 is scheduled to be held in 46 Indian cities and two international cities - Dubai and Kathmandu. While filling the application form, the candidates will have to select their preferred exam centre. Allotment will be done as per preference.
Candidates are advised to check the exam pattern of XAT 2020 since it will help them to prepare for the entrance examination. XAT 2020 will be conducted as a computer based examination. There will be four sections - quantitative ability and data interpretation, verbal and logical ability, decision making and general knowledge. The exam will be 3 hours long. 0.25 marks will be deducted for any wrong answers while 0.05 marks will be deducted for more than 8 unattempted questions.
