XAT 2016 in pictures- One of the most sought after management entrance examinations in India, XAT 2016 concluded on Sunday, January 3 across 47 cities in India. Around 90,000 MBA aspirants appeared for what is considered to be one of the toughest business school entrance tests in the country. Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur and is an accepted entrance exam for admission to over 140 business schools including XLRI Jamshedpur and other Xavier Associate Management Institutes.

As the exam concluded at 1.30 pm, feedbacks by majority of the test takers suggest that the exam was moderate in terms of difficulty level. In fact, many students, who attempted the exam for the second time found the exam to easier compared to the previous year.

#It is time for XAT 2016- Aspirants are seen trickling at the exam centre. The entry time is 9 am but alert students make sure that they reach as early as 8 am.
#Where’s my name- Students do not waste time as they check their roll numbers on the boards put up at the examination hall gates.
#Am I all prepared?-As the time ticks for the test, some students open their notes for some last minute preparation. The entry starting at 9.15 is an added bonus.
#Last minute rush- As the hands move to 9.15, a last minute rush sets in the examination centre. Students are seen building up the queue for entry.
#Don’t close the gates yet- A sudden 10 minutes rush and majority of the students get inside the hall leaving the entry empty. However, as with most exams some aspirants are still hoping to get inside even after the gate closes.
#it’s a long wait- XAT 2016 is scheduled from 10 am to 1.30 pm- a duration of 3.30 hours. While student get down to writing their papers supportive guardians wait outside for them.
#Are you done yet?- As the clock ticks 1.30 pm guardians wait anxiously for the test takers to come out as XAT 2016 comes to an end.
#The gates open- Finally after 3.30 hours, the gates to the examination hall opens and test takers come out after a grueling paper.
#It’s discussion time- Students rush to their guardians and fellow test takers to discuss and compare their performance. Majority of the students find the exam to be moderate in terms of difficulty level.
#What next- As XAT 2016 comes to end students now look forward to the next major qualification rounds for selection to their favorite business schools- GD/PI and Wat.

its true that iims and some of other top ranked institute shortlisted candidates as per their academic record and cat or any other management aptitude test score. see right now which of institute name you have mentioned is also comes under tier 1 college. now you need to focus on your presentation skills, communication approach to get shortlisted in final rounds. so keep calm and focus on your goal, I think you will surely crack it.
IMI Bhubhneswar is a good college and you will be able to get a call letter from the college if you have secured 60 percentile in any of the mba entrance exam. However the college does not offer good ROI. The college placement scenario is good. companies like Outlook magazine, Byju's, Jaro Education, ICICI bank, Varite, Executive B. School visit the collge for final placement. Average placement package is 6.5lpa to 11 LPA. For SIP the range of stipend for SIP is 7,500 to 25000 p. m. The ambiance at IMI Bhubaneswar offers a unique and complete learning experience with good infrastructure facilities.
Jaineel, you have secured a very good score in CMAT and XAT Examination and this score would probably fetch you the admission to some of the top B-schools in the country. Also, the cutoff or the chances of your selection to any institute may also depends on your graduation credentials, gender, category status etc. and since you have not elaborated about it, so I would answer your query in a generic way.
