TAPMI Manipal conducted an induction programme for the students of Post graduate programmes in management of the academic year 2015-17 on June 29 & 30, 2015 in Manipal. This event was conducted to welcome the new students and mark the commencement of the 33rd Batch of PGDM, 6th Batch of PGDM – Healthcare, 2nd Batch of BKFS and the 2nd Batch of the TAPMI-University of Dubai MBA.
The chief guest of the induction programme was Dr. Subhash Chandra, Chairman of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited and promoter of the Essel Group of Companies. Dr. Subhash Chandra emphasized the need to put faith before fear in order to succeed in a professional career. He stated that effective learning from others’ mistakes gives one an edge over competition. He urged the students to focus on experiential learning for wholesome development as a true manager.
On the second day of induction event, Mr. Roshan Mahanama, Srilankan cricketer and a Member of the 1996 World Cup winning team shared his experience with the students. He emphasized that one should not only be strong outside but inside too. Narrating the match between Srilanka- India at Eden Gardens, he said that one should know one’s strengths and work hard on improving one’s areas of concern.
Dr. R. C. Natarajan, Director, TAPMI, faculty and staff members were also present at the event.

SIBM banglore, is also a private institute and was established in 2008. The fees for MBA here is around 7.5 L per anum. The best part about this is the location and the teaching methodology. It competes with some of the top colleges for MBA in the world. Student strength here is around 210.
Great Lakes Institute of Management is a private business school in India. It was founded in 2004. The main campus is in Chennai. Student strength here is around 250. Average package is around 9.5L.
I think SIBM Banglore would be the best choice among the three. After that TAPMI and then Great Lake.
