SP Jain School of Global Management Placement Report 2018 - SP Jain School of Global Management has conducted its final placements for its flagship Global MBA program with a 14 percent increase in the average starting salary. After the increase, the average starting salary for the class of 2018 stood at Rs. 25 lakhs as compared to Rs. 22 lakhs for the previous year’s batch. The highest package offered was Rs. 41 lakhs. Some of the major recruiters in the list were Google, Deloitte, KPMG, Cummins, etc.

Dr. Balakrishna Grandhi, Dean of the School’s Postgraduate Programs said, “We focus on creating relevant talent for modern companies. Creativity is a much sort after skill and hence we have classes including Design Thinking and do a whole host of computer simulations. This helps our students land top jobs. And you may notice that over 50% of our students get jobs outside India which helps in them getting higher salaries.”

 

Consulting and IT domain fetched the maximum number of offers. 34 percent of the total students were placed in the consulting sector followed by IT sector which fetched 24 percent offers. FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Education, etc. were the other domains which contributed to the placements.
