SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2019 - Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has prescribed the eligibility criteria of SNAP 2019. According to SNAP 2019 eligibility criteria mentions the educational qualifications that are required by the candidates to appear for the exam. SNAP eligibility criteria 2019 states different parameters for different categories. Furthermore, eligibility criteria of SNAP 2019 are different for various colleges under SIU. Candidates can check the complete SNAP eligibility criteria 2019 before they start filling the application form for the same. SNAP will be conducted tentatively in the second week of November. Eligibility Criteria of SNAP 2019 for different categories

Note Check Qualification and Age limit - Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for SNAP 2019. However, such students must obtain a prescribed aggregate percentage at the time of admission. 

Age Limit - For SNAP 2019 there is no age limit. 

SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria - College Wise

Symbiosis International University has issued different SNAP eligibility criteria 2019 for various colleges under it. Refer the below table for college wise SNAP 2019 eligibility criteria:

Under SNAP eligibility criteria 2019, student must be a graduate from recognized university or statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks under general category. 


Students belonging to SC or ST categories must have a minimum of 45% marks at the graduation level. 


The student must obtain the equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian universities) in case the student is qualifying from a foreign university.


The student pursuing the final year of graduation can also apply for SNAP 2019 with a minimum of 50% marks during the time of admission. On the other hand, SC and ST are subjected to obtain 45% marks during the times of admission.

Students belonging to the general category must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in their graduation. Whereas, students belonging to SC or ST categories must obtain a minimum of 45% marks at the graduation level


Important note for students in the final year of graduation: During the qualifying admission process student is subjected to obtain a minimum of 50% marks. 


As per eligibility criteria of SNAP 2019, for the SC and ST categories minimum of 45% marks are necessary. However, the admission for such students will be provisional. In case of non-fulfillment of the above criteria, admissions are subjected to be canceled. 


Symbiosis International University will be deciding the final eligibility for admission.


Master of Business Administration (Energy and Environment)

Student must be a graduate in any of one:

  • Bachelors of Technology

  • Bachelors of Engineering

  • Bachelors of Science (Environmental Science)

  • Bachelors of Architecture

General category students must obtain a minimum of 50% marks at the graduation level. SC and ST category must obtain a minimum of 45% marks.

Student must obtain the equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian universities) in case the student is qualifying from a foreign university.


Student pursuing the final year of graduation can also apply to pertain to obtain a minimum of 50% marks during the time of admission. On the other hand, SC and ST are subjected to obtain 45% marks during the times of admission. 

SCIT

Master of Business Administration (Data Sciences & Data Analytics)

Graduation in mathematics at +2 level is a must for the student from recognized universities or statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks under general category. Whereas, student belonging to SC or ST categories must have a minimum of 45% marks.


Student must obtain the equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian universities) in case the student is qualifying from a foreign university.


SIOM – Nashik

Master of Business Administration (Operations Management)

Student must possess graduation in Technology or Engineering from recognized universities or statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks under general category. Whereas, student belonging to SC or ST categories must have a minimum of 45% marks.


Student must obtain the equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian universities) in case the student is qualifying from a foreign university.

SIMS

Master of Business Administration

Student must be a graduate from recognized universities or statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks under general category. Whereas, student belonging to SC or ST categories must have minimum fof45% marks. 


Student must obtain the equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian universities) in case the student is qualifying from a foreign university.


Student pursuing the final year of graduation can also apply to pertain to obtain a minimum of 50% marks during the time of admission. On the other hand, SC and ST are subjected to obtain 45% marks during the times of admission. 


Note: Candidate belonging to defense category must be the spouse/ ward/children of defense personnel.

Reservation Policy of SNAP 2019 - SIU  follow the reservation policy for offering admission to its institutes for candidates who have cleared all the stages of SNAP 2019. (Except for Symbiosis Institutes of Management Studies which possess different reservation policy.)

Note: Reserved categories (SC/ ST/ Kashmiri migrants/ differently abled) students are compiled to submit the necessary documents issued by competent authority. Admission is subjected to be provisional until the authentication of the documents. However, students are advised to fill for any one category in case the students fall under the two reserved category. 

SNAP 2019 Eligibility Criteria:  Reservation Policy for Differently Abled Students at SIU

University Grants Commission and Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment New Delhi issued the guidelines for reserving 3% of seats in all the institutes of SIU for differently abled students. The policy covers the following disabilities:

  1. Multiple Disabilities

  2. Dyslexia

  3. Locomotors Disabilities

  4. Mental Retardation

  5. Vision Impairment

  6. Hearing Impairment

Note: Students under differently abled category have to obtain the “Authentication certification” within a month of the beginning of the programme from SCHC (Symbiosis Centre of Health Care)
