The SNAP 2014 is being concluded on December 21, 2014 across its exam centers in 30 cities of India. SNAP is a national level management entrance exam conducted each year by Symbiosis International University for selecting students for admisisons into its 13 post-graduate management institutes across Pune, Nashik & Bengaluru.
SNAP 2014 is a paper-pen based format test. There are a total of 1,885 seats across the 13 B-schools which will be filled by the selected candidates from SNAP 2014 Exam. Careers360 got insights from the SNAP aspirants who shared their expectations and experince about the exam. We present you students’ reaction on the SNAP 2014 examination.
The exam had a total of 150 questions to be answered by the candidates which were divided into 4 sections and the duration of the exam was 120 minutes. As the exam is paper-pen based, students were free to answer any section based on their priority. These sections were General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability; Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency; General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business Scenario and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. As per the marking system in each section, a ¼ negative marking for each wrong answer was followed.
The General Awareness section of the exam was on the moderate side, where as the Quants and DI were more on the difficult side of the difficulty level. Overall, as per the experts and students reactions, the SNAP 2014 was of moderate level.
Akanksha Garg, a SNAP 2014 taker in a Noida center says, "My preparation for SNAP 2014 is okay. I did not prepare much for the exam and did not take any specific mock test for SNAP. I had earlier taken CAT 2014 and will be appearing for XAT 2015. I think the preparation would suffice. I am hoping for an easy paper! I am aiming for SIBM Pune."
Akshesha Agarwal, a final year Graduation student shares, "My preparation for SNAP 2014 is pretty good. I have taken coaching for the exam and appeared for a number of mock tests so I believe my exam will be good. I have also taken other MBA entrance exams like CAT 2014, NMAT 2015, IIFT 2014 and will appear for XAT 2015. I could not qualify for IIFT but hopeful for other exams."
Gaurav Sharma, another aspirant for SIBM Pune and SCMHRD Pune mentions, "My preparation has been fantastic for SNAP. I have taken coaching and prepared accordingly. Apart from SNAP, I am targetting MBA admission through CAT 2014 and XAT 2015."
Student reactions after SNAP 2014 got over
For a few SNAP 2014 test takers, the SNAP 2014 was smooth and according to the prescribed pattern. The candidates were able to finish the exam in the given time and were happy with the overall difficulty level of the exam.
Akriti Khanna, a SNAP 2014 exam taker, said, “The overall difficulty level of the SNAP exam was moderate. The GK section was tough. In Quant & Reasoning sections, few questions were tough to answer but others were easy, so overall this section can be scoring for the students. General English was the easiest section in the paper.”
Sidharatha Jain, explains, “If a candidate had prepared well and have followed a startegy for the exam, the exam was easy to tackle in the prescribed time. There was no problem in any of the question in the SNAP exam. The sections for me were of easy to moderate level and the exam was scoring”.
The General English section of the SNAP 2014 exam was easy and the students were quiet happy with questions covered in the RC, VA and Verbal Ability.
Dev, another SNAP 2014 test taker from Delhi said, “The English section of the exam was the easiest. It was not expected but the questions were easy and fun to answer. Overall there was no problem in any of the section of the exam”.

No it is not mandatory to report at the exact time of reporting given in the admit card but remember that it is mandatory to reach at the test centre before the closing time of gate mentioned in the admit card.
But in my opinion you should reach at the the reporting time mentioned on the admit card because in online exams there is many verification process that you have to pass through and it will take more time and at the exam centre there is a huge crowd of candidate .
