As per the test pattern, SET BBA 2016 has four sections with 40 questions each, to be completed in the duration of 150 minutes. To complete the test in a stressful planned manner, and secure high marks, here are few expert tips to succeed.
Continue with mock tests – In the last week, you may take a couple of mock tests. After taking the test, analyze it with the help of your mentor or expert. Make sure that you do not repeat the same mistakes in the next mock test. Gautam Puri says, “The candidates should take a couple of mock tests to brush up their preparation.”
Revise: Revision matters most at the last few days before the test. By now it is expected that you have completed the syllabus. “Try revising the topics you thoroughly completed. Revise formulae from each chapter,” says Srinivas Akkapeddi, faculty member, VistaMind Education.
Don’t start new topics: Do not start with a new topic just a week before the test. You won’t be able to grasp them fully and it would also affect your current preparation status. Hence, it is better to revise what you have already covered. “During a week prior to the exam, it is advisable to not study any new topic. Rather you should brush up the General Knowledge section,” mentions Gautam Puri, Vice Chairman, Career Launcher.
Study as per the plan: The right thing to follow in the last few days is to stick to the plan. If not, make a study schedule and stick to it. You must follow your plan in order to cover the entire syllabus and revise the same in a relaxed and planned manner.
Involve in recreational activities: Candidates must take a regular break to recharge them and keep them active for their preparation. Exercise, go out, relax and carry on with the studies later.
Relax and say no to pressure: The most important thing you must remember is not to burden your mind with the exam day stress. Keep calm and be confident about your preparation so far. It is a must to stay relaxed. Srinivas Akkapeddi says, “Do not over burden yourself in the last moment – if you did not work for the past few months, the last week anyways won’t help you!”
