PU MET 2020 - Punjab University, Chandigarh will release PU MET 2020 notification for admission in MBA programmes at the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS) tentatively in December 2020. The officials will release PU MET application form 2020 in online and offline mode probably in first week of January and end date of submission of the same will be fourth week of February. Eligibility criteria for MBA (Retail Management) and (Banking & Insurance)
Candidates must have done their Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
Or, should have passed the final exam conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England.
Or, at least 50% marks in AIME exam or passed the diploma with 60% marks and having minimum of 5 years of research/teaching or professional experience.
PUMET Eligibility Criteria for MBA (Information Technology) and (Infrastructure Management)
Candidates must have completed their bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
Or, should have completed their bachelor’s degree from science with physics/ mathematics with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Or, a bachelor's in Computer Science with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
Or, at least 50% marks in AIME exam or passed the diploma with 60% marks and having minimum 5 years of research/ teaching or professional experience.
Eligibility criteria for MBA (Pharmaceutical Management)
Candidates must have completed their Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Or, should have done their M.B.B.S with having 50% marks in aggregate.
Or, Bachelor’s degree in any science subject with 50% marks in aggregate.
PUMET MBA Eligibility Criteria for (Hospital Management)
Applicants should have done their BAMS/ MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ B.Sc (Nursing)/ B.Pharmacy/ Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from Panjab University or from other recognized university with having 50% marks in aggregate.
Age Limit: There is no age criteria mention in official prospectus by authorities.
PU MET 2020 registration will commence from the first week of January, 2020 and applicants can apply till the fourth week of February, 2020. PU MET application form is available in both modes online and offline. It is important to have an active phone number and valid email id so that future communication can be done through these platforms. At the time of filling application form candidates need to enter their past academic and personal details. Candidates are required to upload scanned documents i.e. photograph and signature. Candidates have to pay the amount of application fee through SBI Bank Challan. Those candidates who belong to General category have to pay Rs 2175/- and SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates have to pay Rs 1087/-.
PU MET 2020 exam patterns specify the time duration of the exam, the total number of questions and topics from questions that will be asked. As per PU MET exam pattern 2020, the exam has total 200 objective type questions (MCQs). Total time duration of PU MET 2020 will be two hours. Panjab University will release PU MET 2020 admit card tentatively in the second week of March 2020. Registered candidates can download PU MET hall ticket 2020 through the official website of University. Candidates have to use their login credentials to download PU MET 2020 admit card. The authorities will not send the hard copy of admit card via post. Without admit card candidates are not permissible to appear in PU MET 2020.

Panjab University will release PU MET 2020 results probably in the last week of April 2020. Applicants can access their PU MET results through the official website of the university by using their login credentials. PU MET result will be available to download in online mode only.
On the basis of PU MET merit list candidates will be called for counselling. The process will start tentatively in the second or third week of June 2020. After the announcement of results, counselling schedule will be updated on the official website of Panjab University. Counselling procedure will end when the total seats of the college get booked. Those candidates who meet the cut off criteria will be called for counselling. On the same day verification process of each candidate will be done.
