Every MBA aspirant aspires for admission in one of the Top B-schools, mostly for which you need to crack CAT with a high percentile. But what if you couldn’t appear in this year’s CAT or what if you could not score the requisite sectional and overall percentile for admission. XAT 2016: Besides CAT, XAT is another prominent MBA entrance exam among the aspirants. Each year around 1 lakh students register for XAT. The application process for the test started from September 4 and will continue till December 10, 2015. However, the last date to apply for XAT was November 30 but was extended for another 10 days. This year there is a common application form for XAT and XLRI Jamshedpur.
XAT 2016 is a paper-pen based objective and subjective type test with 3.5 hours of duration. The exam is divided into 2 papers. Paper 1 is of 2 hours 20 minutes and is completely objective type in nature. The sections are Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making and Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation. The number of questions in the sections is not uniform. The overall duration of this paper is 30 minutes. The sections are General Knowledge and Essay Writing. Compared to last year, the duration of this paper has decreased by 10 minutes. It is likely that XAT will have a difficulty level of Moderate-to-Difficult level.
XAT is conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur for admissions to XLRI Jamshedpur, other Xavier Associate Management Institutes and 141 B-schools across India for admission.

CMAT 2016: Till last year, CMAT used to be a bi-yearly exam conducted in February and September in a 4 day window. In 2015, CMAT was conducted till February and The last date to fill in the applications is December 10, and the exam will be conducted in a computer based format on January 17, 2016. It is likely that CMAT 2016 will be taken by over 70,000 candidates across India, whose scores are accepted by around 1000 B-schools approved by AICTE.e CMAT September 2015 exam was scrapped. The news came out as a hope to candidates, especially for those who needed to other MBA entrance exam besides CAT.
Eligible candidates have to fill the application form via online mode only. Students have to register online and login with their credentials. The CMAT 2016 application fee is Rs. 1400 + Bank charges as applicable for General category candidates and Rs. 700 + Bank charges as applicable for SC, ST and PD category candidates.

GMAT 2015: GMAT India or the Graduate Management Aptitude Test is the international test conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council
for the admission in the Indian B-schools. Many B-schools accepts GMAT scores for admission, giving an MBA aspirant an edge to take admissions in one of the Top B-schools across India.
If you worry about the GMAT application deadline, you don’t have to, as GMAT India is conducted throughout the year and you can book your appointment at a test center as per your convenience. As per the exam pattern, GMAT India is a Computer Adaptive Test of 3 hours 30 minutes. The questions are both objective and subjective in nature divided into four sections. The test is easy if you have prepared and practiced as per the mocks available online.

ATMA 2015: The application process for ATMA started from October 16 and will end on
December 19, 2015. With an easy difficulty level, this exam is for students who really need a test beyond CAT. Conducted by the Association of
Indian Management Schools (AIMS), ATMA is conducted four times a year in the months of
February, May, July and December.
The eligible candidates can fill the application form via both online and offline with a fee of Rs 1100.For December session, ATMA will be conducted on December 27, 2015, in an online mode. The test scores are accepted for admissions to the post graduate management programme of over 89 AIMS participating B-schools.

MAT 2015: MAT is the MBA entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association- AIMA for over 500 B-schools across India. MAT is conducted
four times a year in both paper-pencil as well as a computer-based mode in the months of February, May, September and December.
As per the official dates for MAT December session, the last date to register was November 24, but as it will be conducted again in February 2016, the application process for the same will tentatively start from the last week of December 2015 or the first week of January 2016. Do not lose hope, as this national level test can be your savior.

MICAT 2016: MICAT is conducted by MICA Ahmedabad for admissions to its Post Graduate Diploma in Management- Communications (PGDM-C), so if you are a person with a creative bend of mind and wants to have an MBA degree this is just the right B-school for you. The last date to fill MICAT 2016 applications is December 4, having started from September 10, 2015.
As per the eligibility, you need to be a graduate and must have valid scores of CAT, XAT or GMAT to appear in MICAT. So if you have missed CAT, you still have golden opportunity to apply for MICAT via XAT or GMAT scores. MICAT 2016 will be a subjective and objective type test to be conducted on December 13. It is expected that this year exam will be of Moderate difficulty level.

TISSNET 2016: The Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts TISSNET 2016, which is a national level post graduate entrance exam. This is conducted for admissions to Masters in Social Work and related programs offered by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. So if you are seeking for an MBA degree in social work, TISSNET is an exam you must appear in. The application process is both online and offline and the deadline had been extended to December 8, 2015. The computer based test will be conducted on January 9, 2016, and the results for shortlisted candidates will be announced on February 2, 2016.
The exam will be conducted on Jan 9 from 2pm to 3.40 pm in 39 centers. The test will be a computer based test which will have 100 objective questions to be answered
within the duration of 1 hour 40 minutes. It is likely that exam will be of moderate difficulty level.

IRMA 2016: IRMA 2016 is a national level entrance exam conducted by Institute of Rural Management Anand. IRMA scores are accepted for admissions to Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management 2016 - 18 (PRM 2016-18) and Fellow Programme in Rural Management 2016 (FPRM 2016). If you have a zest for rural management, IRMA is the entrance test you must apply for. The application process is available in both the modes- Online and Offline and the online application will end on December 31, 2015.
IRMA 2016 is an objective type computer based test with a moderate difficulty level. The test will be conducted on February 14, 2016.

Firstly i would like to appreciate you for your efforts for scoring so much high in one of the most difficult exams of the country .
I can understand that this year despite of scoring such a high score you get such a rank but this shows that how much the competetion is rising and also the cutoff is going to rise so much high .
Yes you can apply like this because both of the counsellings are conducted separately but you will get more benefit via the state quota.
Chances for Delhi are unfortunately very less but in UP due to inc in seats due to AIIMS and JIPMER you are going to a very nice institution.

firstly i would like to congratulations you for scoring good marks in your study. And also congratulations for clearing CAT exam.
If you have secured the minimum cutoff of BHU’s FMS will be called for the admission process of the colleges which includes the GD/PI rounds.
The final selection of the candidates is made upon the performance of the candidates in CAT 2020 and the admission rounds. Here the academic record of the candidates is also considered.
Hence there is a chance of getting into FMS BHU .
