NPAT BBA 2016 or NMIMS Programs After Twelfth was conducted on a two day window from May 14 to 15, 2016. The mode of the test was computer based. The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate. This article of Careers360 brings to you the day wise analysis of NPAT BBA 2016.

Each question had 4 options out of which the test takers had to mark only one correct option. There was negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam was 2 hours.

NPAT BBA 2016 Day 1 Analysis

According to the analysis by IMS Learning, English was the easiest section. Quantitative & Numerical Ability or the Maths section was tricky and time consuming. The Logical Reasoning was the balanced section with moderate difficulty level questions. The section wise topics are given below.

 

Proficiency in English Language

As mentioned before, this was the easiest section. The questions were a mix between Reading Comprehension and English Usage questions. The following table brings to you the topics and the corresponding number of questions.

 Quantitative & Numerical Ability

The overall difficulty level of the section was moderate to tough. The topics covered included Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry and Modern Maths. IMS Learning experts mention, “The key to scoring was selection of right questions and meticulous time management. Due to medium-tough quality of questions, there was every chance of time overrun & students would have missed out on simpler LR section, which was the third one. Hence, Maths should have been attempted at the end.”

The topics covered in this section were arrangements, coding, selection criteria, data sufficiency, visual reasoning, series completion and syllogisms etc. Lengthy puzzles with one question each could have been avoided to attempt other shorter questions. The overall difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate.

NPAT BBA 2016 Day 2 Analysis

According to the experts, the exam pattern and difficulty level was similar to that of Day 1 with English being the easiest section. Logical Reasoning section was easier compared to that of Day 1. Quant was the toughest section in both the days.

This was the second section in the exam. Majority of the questions were on Trigonometry, P & L and Geometry. This was followed by Venn Diagram, Probability, Sequence/Series, Time Space & Distance and Quadratic Equations.

The merit list will be announced on June 2, 2016. The classes will commence from July 11, 2016. A total number of 600 seats are offered for the BBA programme in Mumbai and Bengaluru campuses.
