NMAT Syllabus 2019 - Candidates appearing for NMIMS Management Aptitude Test can check NMAT 2019 syllabus so that they get to know what are the topics from which the questions will be asked. NMAT syllabus 2019 comprises three sections- Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning Skills. The QA section will evaluate the candidates’ mathematical, logical reasoning and data interpretation skills, while the Language Skills section will test the candidates’ language comprehension skills. The section on Logical Reasoning Skills will evaluate analytical and data interpretation skills of the test taker. Those who are appearing for the exam can check the NMAT syllabus 2019 and accordingly draw a clear cut preparation strategy. NMAT 2019 Syllabus

NMAT Syllabus 2019 contains three sections. In these three sections, candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their language, quantitative and logical reasoning skills

NMAT Syllabus 2019 for Language Section

As per NMAT 2019 syllabus for language section, candidates will have to answer questions related to verbal ability, comprehension and language structure skills of a candidate will also be evaluated. Candidates will have to answer 32 questions in 22 minutes. The topics covered under this section are:

NMAT Syllabus for Logical Reasoning

This section evaluates the analytical and reasoning ability of a candidate. Candidates will have to complete this section in 38 minutes wherein the candidates will have to answer 40 questions. The NMAT syllabus 2019 for logical reasoning includes the topics that are given below:

  • Coding and Decoding

  • Family tree

  • Syllogisms

Candidates could download the NMAT 2019 admit card after completing the registration and will have to carry it along with ID proofs to the exam centre of NMAT 2019.

  • For every correct answer, students will be marked with one mark

Question: In a year how many times can I appear for NMAT?

Answer:

NMAT is conducted once in a year in a 75 days window. Therefore, students can appear thrice in a year.

Question: Can I carry the calculator during the NMAT examination?

Answer:

Students are not allowed to carry any electronic gazets inside the examination hall. Therefore, calculators are also not allowed.

Question: What is the minimum score required in NMAT to qualify for admissions?

Answer:

As per previous year cutoff students must score >215 to get shortlisted for selection rounds.

NMAT exam organized by GMAC is a National level MBA entrance exam conducts  by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). NMAT by GMAC exam is the mandatory entrance test for MBA admission to NMIMS Mumbai and its other campuses along with 20 other MBA colleges across India.

CAT stands for common aptitude test is the gate way exam for all reputed IIM's and for almost all colleges in india offers mba admission through cat.

NMAT Registration 2019 is underway on the official website of NMAT by GMAC . Candidates can apply for NMAT by GMAC till October 3, 2019 for the first attemp t. Any candidate who has a graduation degree with a minimum of 50 per cent in aggregate or equivalent can apply for NMAT. The exam is scheduled from October 4 to December 17 in online mode in 44 cities in India and 4 cities abroad this year.

The candidates are given 120 questions to be answered in 120 minutes. The preparation plan is in line with other entrance exams.
