NMAT Result 2018 - GMAC will declare the NMAT 2018 result tentatively in the third week of January 2019. The conducting body of the exam will announce the NMAT result 2018 for candidates who appeared in the online exam and wish to seek admission in the MBA programme at any of the 23 participating B-schools. NMAT 2018 result and scorecards will be available in the form of score card carrying the candidates’ percentile which can be downloaded by logging in with User ID and password. The exam authorities will announce the names of shortlisted candidates, along with their Roll Number and Application Number. Once the final percentile is declared, NMAT 2018 result and scores will be sent to those five B-schools, which the candidates had selected during application process of NMAT. The participating institutes will then announce shortlist for final selection process based on NMAT result 2018. The NMAT by GMAC exam begins from October 4, 2018, to December 17, 2018.

How to check NMAT Result 2018?

  1. To check result of NMAT 2018, candidates can visit the official website OR click on the link given below (link will be displayed when result is available).

  2. Candidates need to login with email ID and password, which was generated at the time of registration.

  3. Use the date picker to enter date of birth in DD/MM/YYYY format.

  4. The last step is to enter the security code and click on- Get Your NMAT 2018 Result tab to check the shortlist status.

What is included in NMAT score report?

The final scorecard of NMAT 2018 will include a scaled score for each section, total score as well as a percentile ranking. Each term has been explained below in order to understand the NMAT result.

 

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Scaled Scores: All the test forms are equated to determine any difference in overall difficulty and the scores of NMAT 2018 are placed in a commonplace. This process is done to ensure that the scores are comparable across test forms. It also specifies that the scores are not affected by different candidates getting different test forms.

 

NMAT by GMAC 2018 Percentile Scores: Percentile score reflects how test taker scored when compared to all other test takers, who took the NMAT 2018 exam.

For all the attempts, the scorecard will be updated with scaled scores of NMAT.  After all the candidates have taken their exam, the final percentile for the current admission year will be calculated and updated in NMAT result in third week of January 2019.

 

NMAT by GMAC Cutoff 2018

Once the NMAT final results are declared by Graduate Management Admission Council, the cutoff will also be announced. After that, participating institutes will declare shortlist of candidates based on the institute’s cutoffs. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for Group Discussion (GD) or Writing Ability Test (WAT) or Case Discussion (CD) and Personal Interview rounds as a final step after NMAT 2018.
