Determining Factors of NMAT Cutoff 2022
On the basis of the previous year's NMIMS NMAT cut off, we can say that the NMAT cutoff 2022 will not vary much. The cutoff of NMAT 2022 will be determined keeping in mind the postgraduate admission process. NMAT cutoff will be released by the participating colleges on the basis of some determinants which are given below -
Number of registrations
A number of candidates appeared
Reservation criteria
Availability of seats
The difficulty level of NMAT by GMAC 2022
Past year cutoff trend
A full description of NMAT 2022 cutoff determining factors can be checked by candidates below:
Candidates appeared - Before finalizing the NMAT cutoff, authorities always keep in mind the number of candidates who appeared for the entrance exam. When the number of candidates appearing for the exam is more, then the NMAT cutoff 2022 released will be on the higher side. If not, then vice versa.
Reservation criteria - This is an important determinant while finalizing the cutoffs. Categories like SC/ ST etc., play an important role and the expected average NMAT cutoff is decided. Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/ OBC category might have a lower admission cut off as compared to those who belong to open categories.
Availability of seats - This is the basis and most common factor which might be considered at the time of determining the cutoff of NMAT 2022 is the number of available seats. For example, If no. of candidates applying is less than the actual seats available in participating colleges, then the participating colleges will release a lower NMAT 2022 cutoff.
The difficulty level of NMAT 2022 - Participating colleges of NMAT 2022 will consider the difficulty level of the exam before they fix the cutoff for admissions in the new session.
Past year cutoff trend - While deciding the NMAT cutoff 2022, participating institutes will also consider the previous trends of the cutoff. The new cutoff is set somewhere near the past trends.
