The process of selection in MDI Gurgaon incorporates the combined performance of the candidate in CAT (Common Admission Test), followed by shortlisting of candidates on the basis of the cumulative score of WAT (Writing Ability Test), GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview). Moreover, MDI application requires a minimum of 50 percent marks in 10th, 12th standards & undergraduate level.


MDI Gurgaon Cutoff

The CAT 2017 results were declared on January 8, 2018, and the cutoff for MDI Gurgaon is yet to be announced. It is expected that the CAT 2017 cutoff would be on the similar lines as that of the last year.

The institute considers sectional cutoffs as well, do not declare it officially. The overall MDI Gurgaon cutoff for the admissions to management programmes for 2018-20 batch will soon be announced by the institute.


MDI Gurgaon Selection Procedure

The candidates who have appeared for the CAT 2017 will be shortlisted on the basis of the details filled in the application form and their CAT percentile adhering to MDI Gurgaon cutoff.The shortlisted candidates will then be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds tentatively in the months of February and March 2018 at one of the centres, viz. Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai (centres other than Gurgaon are tentative).

The final selection will happen around April –May 2018, after the shortlisting from both the CAT MDI Gurgaon cutoff percentile and GD/PI/WAT rounds.
