Project Executive Summary
The Project started with the aim to reduce the Inventory level at the Plant site and store at Ras and Beawar Plant. The purpose was directed to only 4 categories (Lubricants, Bricks and Castables, Variable Frequency Drive and Conveyor Belt) to have a model so that it can be applied for all other categories.
The bifurcation of each category was done on the basis of various applications. The items under each category were segregated on the basis of the application in different areas of Plants in Ras and Beawar Plants. After Discussion with the technical team, the Standardization of items for the same application in Beawar and Ras were done, and permission was taken for the standardization of items for the same application from both the Plants.

The calculation Model for this project was done taking an increase of 10% in rate of items compared to last year. Also, there will be additional 2% discount which Shree Cement Limited will be saving by procuring bulk quantity from the Vendor.
Taking all these parameter, calculation was done for the all 4 items and following saving can be done:-
