MAT 2020 - All India Management Association (AIMA) successfully conducted MAT 2020 on offline mode on February 16. AIMA released the MAT 2020 PBT mode admit card on February 13 for all those candidates who had registered after February 10. Earlier AIMA had released the MAT 2020 admit card for candidates who had registered earlier on February 11. AIMA had extended the last date to register for MAT 2020 PBT Mode. Candidates were allowed to fill the MAT 2020 application form for PBT mode till February 12. AIMA released the application form on December 27, 2019 for both paper-based and computer-based mode of the entrance exam that was held in February. The last date to fill MAT 2020 registration form was February 12 for paper-based mode. Initially, the end date to fill the form in CBT mode was January 26. MAT 2020 application form was available in online mode for PBT mode. AIMA conducted MAT 2020 February session in PBT mode on February 16 and the computer-based mode was conducted by AIMA on February 2. MAT 2020 result will be declared on February 29. MAT is a national level entrance test conducted by AIMA to offer admission in various MBA and PGDM courses. More than 600 B-school accepts the MAT scorecard. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted four times a year (February, May, September and December).

Candidates can check their MAT 2020 result on February 29 of both (PBT & CBT) mode. To check the result candidates need to login by using their registered mobile number and roll number. MAT scorecard will not be sent to candidates residence through post. Candidates have to download it by using the same credentials. MAT 2020 result cum scorecard will be valid for one year. MAT result is accepted by more than 300 B-school across the country. Candidates will be shortlisted for the selection procedure on the basis of MAT result.
Know your Admission Chances for Colleges Accepting MAT score
Participating institute of MAT 2020 will release the cutoff of MAT 2020 February exam. Around 300 B-Schools will offer admission in MBA on the basis of MAT 2020 Cutoff. After the declaration of MAT 2020 result, the institute which accept MAT score and will announce their respective cutoffs. The range of MAT cut off in all the top MBA colleges is 70 to 80+ MAT percentile.
Selection procedure of MAT usually consists of Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and or Written Ability Test (WAT). First, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of MAT score. Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection rounds at various participating institutes. Final admission will be done on the basis of performance in selection process rounds. Every participating institute have their own selection process.

The admit card of PBT mode was available for all the candidates who had registered for the exam till February 12. AIMA released the MAT 2020 February session admit card for CBT mode on January 29, 2020. Candidates were required to log in on the official website by using their online application number and DOB. Candidates could download the MAT 2020 admit card till the day of the exam. The authorities did not send the hard copy of MAT admit card PBT mode to any of the candidates. Without admit card, candidates were not allowed to appear in MAT 2020 exam. MAT 2020 PBT mode was conducted on February 16.
MAT 2020 was conducted by AIMA in both online and offline mode. While filling application form candidates can select any one or both the modes. MAT 2020 CBT mode was conducted successfully on February 2 and PBT mode on February 16. As per MAT exam pattern, the exam had a total of 200 multiple choice questions which was divided into five sections. The total time duration of the MAT exam was two hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes). Candidates can check the details MET 2020 exam pattern from the below table.

Marking scheme- Each question carries one marks and 0.25 (1/4th marks) will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

MAT scorecard is accepted by more than 600 B-schools. There are around 350 registered institutes under AIMA, that accepts candidates admission on the basis of MAT scores. There are around 250 institutes who are not registered at AIMA but they accept MAT score for admission. Some of the premier institutes which accept MAT score.

All India Management Association prescribes the eligibility criteria for MAT 2020. Candidates must fulfil the following parameters before applying for MAT 2020.
Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Those candidates who are pursuing their final year of graduation can also apply for MAT 2020.
No age limit criteria to appear for MAT 2020.
AIMA had released the list of MAT 2020 test cities where exams were conducted. MAT test centres varied according to the mode of exam. While filling MAT application form candidates has the option to choose two exam centres from the given options.

MAT 2020 registration had commenced from December 27, 2019 for both PBT and CBT mode. Candidates could apply till February 12 for paper based test and the last date to fill the application form of CBT mode was January 30, 2020. The last date to fill the application form of MBA 2020 PBT mode was extended by AIMA. The February session MAT 2020 application form was available in online mode for paper-based. Before filling the application form candidates were required to register first to create User ID and password for MAT application form 2020 February test. At the time of filling the application form candidates need to enter their academic and personal details. Candidates were also required to upload scanned documents and pay the amount of application fee. Registration fee of Rs 1550/- for one test (either CBT or PBT) or Rs 2650/- for both.
