MAT September 2015 Exam Pattern
MAT September 2015 Exam Pattern: Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is the MBA entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT is held 4 times a year in the months of February, May, September and December for the admission in over 500 B-schools across India. MAT September 2015 was conducted on December 6 and 12 as per the MAT September 2015 Exam pattern.
The type of questions were objective and multiple choice. The candidates had to select the correct option. There were 5 sections with 200 questions.
The duration of MAT was 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes and there was no sectional time limit and the candidates could move to and fro between the sections. There were 5 sections in the MAT September 2015 Exam Pattern, namely Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Indian and Global Environment. While there are 40 questions in each section, the scores of the Indian and Global Environment are not added in the final section. Also, the candidates could start the exam with any section.
The total marks of the exam was 200 and the scaled score was given out of 800. The MAT Exam Pattern and difficulty level has remained consistent over the years.

I would like you to take some efforts to improve your maths, you can do just my practicing a good number of questions regularly, that's the only way you can improve it. Because maths is the most scoring part to get a good rank and percentile. Just practice regularly , so that it will help you to crack exams. Don't give up just do it:-)

OPEN MAT exam is conducted by NTA for admission of MBA/PGDM programs to IGNOU only, eligibility criteria is passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 50% aggregate, there's relaxation of 5% in case of reserved category. the entrance exam is conducted for three hours for 200 marks with mainly subjects such as General Awareness,English Language, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude, you may visit the official website of NTA at https://ignouexams.nta.nic.in/WebInfo/Public/Home.aspx to know more details regarding this.
the syllabus of mat or cat is same or not
The syllabus of CAT and MAT are similar but not exactly same. Both the exams differ from each other in exam parameters as well as competitive level.
The CAT exam is based on following sections:
Quantitative Aptitude (QA),
Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR),
Verbal Ability &Reading Comprehension (VARC)
Whereas MAT exam has following sections :
Indian and Global Environment
Data Analysis and Sufficiency
Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
