MAT Selection Procedure 2020 - All India Management Association (AIMA) has discounted the registrations for PBT and CBT mode for May session due to Covid-19. Candidates who applied for PBT or CBT modes had option to convert their registration into Internet-Based Test (IBT) as the registrations till June 25. Candidates who do not wish to appear for the IBT mode can appear for CBT and PBT modes in forthcoming exams which will be conducted after considering the COVID 19 situation nationwide. The participating institutes will conduct the selection procedure of MAT 2020 May session. The MAT selection procedure 2020 will be done by participating institutes after the declaration of result by AIMA. Over 500 B-schools participate in MAT 2020 selection procedure. However, the selection process may differ from institute to institute. MAT is conducted four times a year for admission to the management programme of b-schools accepting MAT score. Participating institutes will conduct the selection procedure of MAT 2020 soon after the declaration of result. However, students will be required to apply for the institutes separately for which they wish to apply on the official website of the respective college. Furthermore, candidates must note that the selection criteria of each institute may vary by conducting all the rounds or any two rounds as mentioned below:

Upon the release of the merit list, candidates will be informed through email or letter of the institute they applied for. Divide the syllabus into Class 11 and Class 12 and the topics as "Need to Learn", "Weak" and "Strong". Now it is important to check the weightage of each topic. In Physics, Modern Physics take the top slot with 5 questions. Heat and Thermodynamics, Optics, Current Electricity, Elcetrostatics get 3 questions each. Magnetic has 2 questions and the rest get 1 question each. In Chemistry, Transition Elements and Coordination Chemistry, Periodic Table and Representative elements take 3 questions slot.
