Column by Dr. Urvashi Makkar:
The essence of human development is education, which weaves the socio-economic fabric of the country and management education plays a significant role in providing strength to this fabric. The role of education in a nation’s progress is crucial and defining. Management institutes are contributing towards the nation’s development by nurturing the aspiring business leaders.
College Comparison based on Courses, Placement, Rank, Fee
With an average GDP growth of eight percent over the last decade, the Indian middle class which demands higher education will swell to over 500 million people in the next 10 years. This will bring in a surge in education industry, which till now has been serving the elite class. It will now have to cater to the masses. Innovation and changes are required and understanding that change will be essential.
The demand for higher education and the magnitude of planned reforms over the next 10 years in India will provide the largest opportunity in the world for international higher education institutions and education businesses. Not only providing education, the real challenge is to have employable and corporate-ready professionals by recognising the needs of the industry and integrating knowledge with professional inputs. This is an era of technology and innovation, and learning the management of technology, innovation and change is the need of hour for the aspiring management graduates. This has become imperative in the current VUCA environment that, education delivery must be highly flexible and adaptive of new methods with more impetus on technological innovations.
Contemporary customised value-added courses should be imbibed in the curriculum. Apart from the classroom learning, students should get adequate exposure through live projects, corporate interface, industrial visits, dissertation, summer trainings etc. Students need to be encouraged to participate in relevant seminars and conferences so that they can start networking and grow into a complete professional who will be market leaders of tomorrow. Students should be armed enough to face the challenges.
Education devoid of practical exposure is not enough. A rich and unique learning environment develops the student physically, intellectually and emotionally. Institutes need to ensure a futuristic approach that keeps pace with the changing trends in the professional world through our global perspective. I look positively at developing an entrepreneurial culture and global interface. Entrepreneurship is a key driver of our economy and management graduates have a major role to play in that, therefore, entrepreneurship education should be regarded as a critical component of our educational curriculum.
The Indian higher education system will face an unprecedented transformation in the coming decade. This transformation is being driven by economic and demographic change. It is required that the stakeholders understand the intricacies of the change in higher education and prepare the students for this change.
The key to academic excellence lies in three areas such as building capacity, generating innovative ideas and creative innovation. Management programme nowadays aim to encourage critical and lateral thinking and integrate theory with practice to promote entrepreneurship amongst students. There is a strong need of encouraging research-orientation amongst students as well. Management institutes play a major role in not only shaping the career but also developing professionals for global competitiveness.
G L Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida welcomed its new admitted 20...
You can always contact the Management of GL Bajaj. But I'll recommend to do it as soon as possible if you wise for CSE/IT as GL Bajaj is considered best in Greater Noida and there is lesser chance of seats available in CSE/IT so better contact them soon. You can contact NIET as well they might have seats left in CSE/IT. But if you wish for core branches then you can easily get a seat in GL as well as in NIET.

Even last year , one of our super senior got placed in amazon company with an average package of 6lpa. But it can not be assured that it comes every year. Maybe for any batch , there would be no vacancy and the company will not come for recruitment.

As your query is GL Bajaj Institute of Management Research and GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management are different or same for MBA purpose. I would like to tell you the institute GL Bajaj has 2 campus one of which is located in Greater Noida and the other one is located in Mathura. The one located in Greater Noida is known as GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management and one located in Mathura is known as GL Bajaj Of Management Research. I would like to tell you that the owner of both the colleges are same and both of them are same for the MBA purpose, so the campus doesn't matter it is all about that you are getting a GL Bajaj college but in my opinion in the expects of placement, technical and innovative environment the campus of Greater Noida is in some ways better than the campus of Mathura, so based on the counselling check for whether the college is situated in Greater Noida or in Mathura then go for the admission procedure or seat allotment.
