Although as many as 9 candidates have secured the highest percentile, 99.99, the highest marks obtained has also lowered from last year. The range of marks obtained by the 99.99 percentilers is 151 to 165. Last year, the highest scorer had total marks of 170.
The low scores are also an indication of lower cutoffs for the participating B-schools for the MAH CET counselling rounds. As a result the intake quality of the top B-schools like JBIMS, SIMSREE, and KJSIMSR etc. is also expected to dip.

*Scores obtained by candidates on any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms.
(iii) Test-wise scores and scores on total is reported with decimal points up to two digits.
The MAH CET 2016 exam pattern has also undergone changes. Unlike the previous years, the sections have been divided into particular number of questions. The highest weightage has been assigned to the Reasoning sections. Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability/Reading Comprehension have been assigned 50% weightage each.
