KMAT 2017 - Karnataka Management Aptitude Test is a standardised state level entrance test which is administered since 2003. KMAT 2017 allows Business Schools to screen candidates to management programme across Karnataka. KMAT is conducted once in a year for candidates who want to pursue MBA anywhere in Karnataka. Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) had announced the exam date of KMAT and was held on July 30, 2017. The second KMAT 2017 will be held on October 8, 2017. The admit card has been released on October 6. KMAT is a paper-pencil based test comprising a majority of multiple choice questions. The state level test is conducted for admission to a number of the postgraduate management programme in Karnataka covering 10,000 seats. The KMAT scores will be accepted by more than 169 AICTE approved universities and B-schools in Bangalore and Karnataka. The admit card of KMAT 2017 is only available for candidates who registered for the entrance exam. The admit card for second KMAT scheduled on October 8 has been released on October 6. Test takers have to paste their passport size picture on the registration form in the space provided on the KMAT admit card.
The exam pattern of KMAT comprises multiple choice questions (MCQs) further divided into four sections: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The result of KMAT 2017 has been announced on August 9, 2017. The original date of result declaration was August 7, which has been postponed. The KMAT 2017 result is available in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can check their KMAT 2017 result by visiting the official website and entering the application number with date of birth.
KMAT Cutoff 2017
The cutoff of KMAT 2017 is the minimum marks a candidate must score in order to obtain admission into the reputed B-schools. Each institute is likely to have its very own cutoff for both MBA and MCA programme, which a candidate has to meet.

KMAT 2017 Test Centre
The management based entrance exam will be held across the country and the availability of the test centres can be changed by the conducting body. Here are few cities where candidates can take the test:
Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) prescribes the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2017.
Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum 50% marks and 45% for SC/ST candidates.
Applicants who are in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply for KMAT 2017.
The application form for KMAT 2017 had to be filled in online mode. Interested candidates started applying online from May 23, 2017, onwards. The application process was postponed until May 23 without any prior information. The application deadline had also been postponed from July 16 to July 21, 2017. Candidates had to first check if they were eligible to take the test. Eligible candidates could then fill the KMAT 2017 application form following the steps shared below:

Tick the appropriate Nativity if test takers are not Karnataka state student.
Candidates can select and mention minimum two preferred test centres as per their convenience.
Mark the test for which a candidate is appearing.
Test takers must then fill in their complete address for communication purpose.
A candidate seeking admission for MBA, MCA must create a DD for Rs. 800 IN FAVOR OF ‘KMAT 2017’.
Test takers are advised to keep a print out of application form and DD as an evidence of acknowledgement.
