KMAT 2019 – Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) released the admit card for KMAT 2019 on October 18, 2019. Earlier the date for release of KMAT 2019 admit card was October 10. Authorities announced the application form of KMAT 2019 (phase II) on August 10. The last date to fill the KMAT application form was September 30. KMAT will be conducted in offline mode by Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) on October 20, 2019. Earlier the exam was supposed to be conducted on October 13, 2019. The authorities conduct KMAT as a state-level entrance examination for admission to post-graduation in management offered by B-schools of Karnataka. KMAT Application could be filled in online mode 2019 along with a payment of Rs.1000/-. Candidates having a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognised education body in certain disciplines are eligible to apply for KMAT 2019. Candidates can check here all details about KMAT such as important dates, eligibility, application form, admit card, exam pattern, result, etc. KMAT was first administered in 2003. The state-level test covers 10,000 seats. The 170 MBA colleges across Bangalore and rest of Karnataka will accept KMAT exam score.

KMAT Admit Card 2019

The admit card of KMAT 2019 second phase has been released on October 18, 2019 in online mode. Earlier the release date for admit card of KMAT 2019 was October 10. Candidates can download the same either from the official website or from the link given in this article. KMAT 2019 admit card is available for the candidates who successfully registered for the entrance exam by filling the application form. Candidates had to carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card to the examination hall.

KMAT 2019 Exam Centres

KMAT 2019 exam of the second phase will be conducted across Karnataka in the following cities-

Bagalkot, Bangalore, Belgaum, Bellary, Bijapur, Davangere, Gulbarga, Hubli, Mangalore, Mysore, Shimoga, Tumkur, Udupi. Test organizers reserve the right to withdraw any centre or add any new centre. The availability of the test centres can be changed by the conducting body.


KMAT Exam Pattern 2019

The exam pattern of KMAT 2019 comprises multiple-choice questions (MCQs) further divided into four sections: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The duration of KMAT 2019 was 120 minutes or 2 hours.

KMAT Syllabus 2019

The syllabus of KMAT 2019 includes topics related to basic mathematics, aptitude and language comprehension skills. Students can refer to the syllabus prescribed to competitive entrance exam like CAT, CMAT etc and also check the section-wise topics of KMAT below:

  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension- Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms, Comprehension of passages

  • Logical and Abstract Reasoning - Verbal Reasoning, Analogy

  • Quantitative Ability - Numerical calculations, Arithmetic problems (ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time & speed etc.), Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Quantitative reasoning, Interpretation of tables, common graphs & charts.

KMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) prescribes the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2019.

  • Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and 45 per cent for SC/ST candidates.

  • Candidates in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply for KMAT 2019.


KMAT Application Form 2019

The application process of KMAT 2019 started from August 10, 2019 and continued till September 30, 2019. Before filling the form, candidates must first check the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2019. The application form can be filled through online mode. Once the application form of KMAT 2019 has been filled, an application fee of Rs. 1000 has to be paid by the candidate online. Upon successful submission of the KMAT 2019 application form, a unique ID is generated and sent on the registered email ID.


KMAT Result 2019

The result of KMAT 2019 will be announced after the entrance exam. The KMAT 2019 result will be available in the form of a scorecard which can be collected from KMAT office. The result or scorecard includes candidates' name, roll number, sectional and overall score and percentile. Based on the KMAT result 2019, participating institutes will shortlist candidates for the selection procedure, including Group Discussion and Personal Interview.


KMAT Cutoff 2019

The cutoff of KMAT 2019 is the minimum marks a candidate must score in order to obtain admission into the reputed B-schools. Each institute is likely to have its own cutoff for both MBA programme, which a candidate has to meet. Each participating institution will have separate KMAT 2019 cutoff based on which they will shortlist candidates for the final round of KMAT selection procedure after the KMAT 2019 result is declared.

KMAT Selection Procedure 2019

The selection procedure of KMAT 2019 is for those test-takers who have scored marks as per the cut off of the KMAT Exam. The selection procedure of KMAT 2019 will be conducted after each of the participating KMAT institutes announce their respective cut-offs and the list of shortlisted candidates. The KMAT 2019 selection procedure will be conducted separately by each institute and would include GD/essay writing/Case Study and Personal Interview rounds. The final merit list will be generated based on the performance in KMAT, and the GD-PI rounds. Some institutes may consider past academic records and work experience as well.

KMAT is  conducted by Karnataka Private Post Graduate College Association for admission into MBA and MCA program.


Eligibility Criteria are as follows-


MBA Program-


Candidates must have passed graduation with a minimum of 3 years duration or qualified  Master's degree from a recognised institute with minimum aggregate of 50%, however there's relaxation given to SC/ST candidates for 5%. Candidates from any stream are eligible to apply.



MCA Program-


Candidate must have studied Maths at 10+2 level or during Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% to be eligible for this program.



You can apply for KMAT in any of these program, once you're graduated with the required aggragate, by next year.

Hello Aspirant,

Candidates who have scored marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks are eligible to participate in the counselling process.

Candidates who wish to participate in KMAT counselling must check the official schedule on the website.

Those selected for the counselling process will get a counselling letter.

Original as well as a photocopy of the letter must be brought by the candidate during the counselling.

The counselling of KMAT 2019 will be conducted after the announcement of the result. Please regularly check their official site for updates regarding the counselling dates. Only the candidates who have scored marks equal to or greater than the cut off marks are eligible to participate in the counselling process and those selected for the counselling process will get a counselling letter.

General 107, sebc 72, sc/st 54 so these are the required cutoff what you have been asking for so its like you need to maintain that in order to go for it. So better go for it and just try to be that and maintain yhat for which you need to try a lot.
