KMAT 2018 - The result of KMAT which was conducted on October 14, 2018, is now available. Candidates can collect the scorecard of KMAT 2018 from the KMAT Office in Bangalore. The result and score card of KMAT 2018 will not be sent separately by post to any candidate. The result of first phase of KMAT 2018 was declared on August 23. Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) conducts KMAT as a state-level entrance examination for admission to post graduation in management offered by B-schools of Karnataka. The 170 MBA colleges across Bangalore and rest of Karnataka with moderate fee structure will accept KMAT score. In addition, as per exam authorities, candidates who appeared for second session of KMAT exam on October 14, 2018 may even send someone to collect their result from the KMAT Office in Bangalore, in case they are unable to go. They must ensure that they send a letter of authorization to collect the result along with them. They may even ask their college to collect it for them.
KMAT was first administered in 2003. The state-level test covers 10,000 seats. Candidates having a Bachelors degree with a minimum 3 years duration/ Masters degree examination of any recognised education body in certain disciplines are eligible to apply for KMAT.

The result of second round of KMAT 2018 has been announced. The KMAT 2018 result is available in the form of a scorecard which can be collected from KMAT office. The result or scorecard includes candidates' name, roll number, sectional and overall score and percentile. Based on the KMAT result 2018, participating institutes will shortlist candidates for the selection procedure, including Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

KMAT Cutoff 2018
The cutoff of KMAT 2018 is the minimum marks a candidate must score in order to obtain admission into the reputed B-schools. Each institute is likely to have its own cutoff for both MBA programme, which a candidate has to meet. Each participating institution will have separate KMAT 2018 cutoff based on which they will shortlist candidates for the final round of KMAT selection procedure after the KMAT 2018 result is declared.
The selection procedure of KMAT 2018 second round is for those test takers who have scored marks as per the cut off of the KMAT Exam. The selection procedure of KMAT 2018 will be conducted after each of the participating KMAT institutes announce their respective cut-offs and the list of shortlisted candidates. The KMAT 2018 selection procedure will be conducted separately by each institute and would include GD/essay writing/Case Study and Personal Interview rounds. The final merit list will be generated based on the performance in KMAT, and the GD-PI rounds. Some institutes may consider past academic records and work experience as well.

The admit card of KMAT 2018 second phase was issued on October 12 in online mode. Candidates could download the same either from the official website or from the link given in this article. KMAT 2018 admit card was only available for the candidates who registered for the entrance exam by filling the application form. Candidates have to carry a valid ID proof along with the admit card in the examination hall. Candidates need to carry the admit card of KMAT 2018 to the exam centre on the day of the exam i.e. October 14. The candidates without the admit card were not be allowed to sit for the exam.

KMAT 2018 exam of second phase was conducted across Karnataka in four cities - Bengaluru, Huballi, Mangaluru, Kalaburagi.
Test organizers reserve the right to withdraw any centre or add any new centre. The availability of the test centres can be changed by the conducting body.
The exam pattern of KMAT 2018 comprises multiple choice questions (MCQs) further divided into four sections: Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. The duration of KMAT 2018 is 120 minutes or 2 hours.

The syllabus of KMAT 2018 includes topics related to basic mathematics, aptitude and language comprehension skills. Students can refer to syllabus prescribed to competitive entrance exam like CAT, CMAT etc and also check the section-wise topis of KMAT below:

The application process of KMAT 2018 second round ended on October 10, 2018. Before filling the form, candidates had to first check the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2018. The application form could be filled through online mode. Candidates wanting to fill the offline application could download the application form, from the official website and fill it with the correct details. Once the application form of KMAT 2018 had been filled, an application fee of Rs. 1000 had to be paid by the candidate online or offline. Upon successful submission of the KMAT 2018 application form, a unique ID was generated and sent on the registered email ID.
Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) prescribes the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2018.
Aspirants must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum 50 per cent marks and 45 per cent for SC/ST candidates.
Applicants who are in their final year of bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply for KMAT 2018.
