JIMS Rohini Campus Life- ‘Enjoy and grow simultaneously’ says Sachin Sinha
For students, transition to college life is a big milestone. To embrace the college life of the students the institutes must look after the student’s education preparation for life rather focusing over academics. Also, with a significant amount of freedom students would want a BSchool wherein they get all the amenities in one. JIMS Rohini is one of those colleges that has a fine campus life, a daily routine, good placement records and other such facilities. JIMS Rohini not only has those, but it also conducts various activities and cultural fests, has clubs and committees, etc. Check the full interview below.
Careers360: How is the campus life at JIMS Rohini? What's the daily routine? Is it all packed up in a routine or equally divided between fun and study? What is the best thing about the campus, something that differentiates it from the other B-schools?
Sachin Sinha: The Campus life at JIMS Rohini is both dynamic and proactive, from both the ends. Along with the regular classes, there are weekend activities organized by clubs and societies. Personally, I found my entire duration in JIMS to be quite fun, as I was able to learn and grow simultaneously. The USP of the college are definitely the faculties. Experienced in dealing with the individuality of every student, they have their own pedagogy in aiding the students growth.
Careers360: Does your college organise corporate trips or casual college trips? Of yes, share the experience.
Sachin Sinha: Yes, It does. The coca cola industrial visit was the best one, as we were able to get a firsthand experience of how the market leader (Coca Cola) actually works.
Careers360: Is there any club or committees at the campus? Are you a part of any club or committee? Share some of the activities and experience.
Sachin Sinha: There are many clubs and societies. And I have been fortunate enough to form one and lead it, with the society being, Expression, JIMS’ Literary Society.
Careers360: Tell us something about your college's cultural fests, business/sports competitions or other activities.
Sachin Sinha: VERVE is the highlight of all the activities, fests etc. It plays hosts to various activities and celebrities lighting up the stage, with the recent one being Parmish Verma, highlighting Verve 2K19.
Careers360: What do you do when you are not studying or not attending the classes?
Sachin Sinha: Discussing and Evaluating current affairs and hot topics of the country and foreign affairs, likewise. Or browsing through the various novels and historical collections of the library.
Careers360: There are always normal hangouts and few special hangouts like boys’ secret corridors or the secret corner. What are some such special spots at the campus?
Sachin Sinha: As of now, there are no such spots. We hangout freely anywhere in the college.
Careers360: Tell us something about the hostel life? What makes it special from other hostels?
Sachin Sinha: Sorry, I am not a hosteller.
Careers360: Tell us about the placement process/experience?
Sachin Sinha: The process was rigorous indeed. It lasted for 10-11 hours, and comprised 4 rounds in total: The HR Round, Two Technical Rounds and an Online Search round at the end. But it was worth it, as I was selected amongst 150+ aspirants for the vacancy.
Careers360: What was the interview experience? What were the questions you were asked and how did you tackle them?
Sachin Sinha: Honestly, the questions have slipped off my mind. But the interview experience was one that can be considered challenging yet worth the learning. And to be very honest, I tackled the questions quite decently.
Careers360: The new batch will join soon while you will be graduating. What would be your message to the juniors?
Sachin Sinha: Enjoy and grow simultaneously. Academics are important, but not at the cost of your fun. And trust me, PGDM isn’t as difficult as it is made out to be, once you get the hang of it.

It is a good university for studying. Hope you find your answer. Good luck!!!
for bca course which one is better regarding education and placement amity university noida or JIMS rohini, secotr 3, delhi?
Hey dear, if you want to pursue your BCA than i would suggest you to go for amity univerity as conpared to jims rohini as the faculty of amity is better and well trained. Also, amity university has its own brand value than jims can't match so the big MNC's prefer coming to amity more often.
