IRMA ISC 2017 Analysis

Most of the questions were on Government Schemes or government institutions. Some such questions asked by IRMA included:

1. When was NABARD founded?

2. ASHA is a part of which mission or scheme?

3. Abbreviation of acronym -. DAPP

According to the experts, in the paragraph based questions, while some answers could be found directly in the passage itself, in others, candidates required prior knowledge to answer correctly. Although most of the questions were direct, some were inferential in nature. The topics of the passages were IRDP schemes, women-oriented schemes, educational initiatives of the government, short-term migration, and death due to cold.

The standalone questions were both on static GK as well as current affairs related to reports and indices, Five-Year Plans, Committees, Institutions and Schemes. Some of the questions were as follows:

1. What is the projected unemployment rate for 2018?

2. Who was tasked with revising the formula given by the Tendulkar committee?

3. What is the new scheme on SC/ST and women called?

4. In which city/state is NDDB located?

5. Which institution is the biggest stakeholder in Regional Rural Banks?

According to IMS experts, attempting 14 to 15 questions out of 31 passage based questions and four to five questions out of nine questions in 80 to 85 per cent accuracy would be considered good performance. The IRMA result 2017 is expected to be declared by the last week of February.

Cutoff for Irma anand?????????

Kshitij Anand 28th Feb, 2019

ELIGIBLITY

A graduate from any discipline, with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education, having 50 per cent (45 per cent for SC/ST/DAP (Differently Abled Person)) aggregate marks at the graduation level can apply for admission. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned university or institution. In case the university/institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by IRMA by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Students in final year of their graduation can apply if they expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before July 01, 2019.
