IIM Udaipur has announced the admission policy for the flagship programme of PGP 2015-17 batch. Among the six new IIMs established between 2010 and 2011, IIM Udaipur is the first to announce the admission policy. PGP 2015-17 would be the 5th batch of the B-School. The admission or the selection of students will take place broadly on the basis of 2 stages, CAT 2014 and WAT & PI rounds.

Compared to last year, the CAT cutoff has been lowered. While the CAT 2013 cutoff for the General category candidates was 96.82 percentile, that of the present year is 90 percentile.
IIM Udaipur mentions, “IM Udaipur Admission Committee will decide the number of candidates who would be called for PA process on the basis of short listed merit list prepared for each category. However, if the actual number of short-listed candidates were found to be less (more) than the required number of candidates to be called for WA / PI category-wise, then the overall as well as section-wise minimum score would be reduced (increased) to get the desired number of candidates.”
Final selection Criteria
The final selection would be made on the basis of the Written Ability Test & Personal Interview rounds as part of the Common Admission Process round for the 6 new IIMs namely IIM Ranchi, Rohtak, Raipur, Trichy, Udaipur and Kashipur.

Diversity Factor
As far as Gender Diversity is considered, female candidates will be assigned 15 marks in the final selection criteria.
Academic Diversity
The following table will give you the academic disciplines which would be given 15% weightage.
Arts/Humanities: Anthropology, Archaeology, Economics, Education, Geography, History, Languages, Liberal arts, Law, Library and Information Science, Mass Communication and Journalism, Music, Philosophy, Performing Arts (Dance/Drama/Theatre), Literature, Physical Education, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Social Work, Statistics, etc.
Commerce: Accounting, Auditing, Banking, Chartered Accountancy, Costs & Works Accountancy, etc.
Science Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Zoology, etc.
Others: Medicine, Pharmacy, and Management, etc.
As per the above table, apart from Engineering, students from majority disciplines would come under the academic diversity.

see the basic eligibility criteria for cat is candidate need to have a graduation degree in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized university. marks percentage should be calculated as per university norms, and for any university students who are in graduation or already passed 50% marks criteria is applied.
According to the eligibility criteria for CAT the candidate must have completed their graduation. Although the candidate who is in final year of graduation can take the test but will be admitted into the course only if he/she clears graduation with at least 50% marks .

The CAT exam for the year 2020 will be conducted on the last Sunday of November or first Sunday of December 2020.The registration for the exam will start by the first week of August and will end by the last week of september.
to get a call from iim bangalore not only depends on cat score but also it depends on your academic curriculum, work experience etc. iim bangalore has 40% weight age to cat score and 50% weight to academics and 10% is on gender diversity and work experience. see as per previous years cutoff and students review you need to have more than 95 percentile in cat exam to get a call from iim's if you belongs to general category.
