IFIM CSR Initiative
The IFIM college’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team took upon itself to do some good for the society and educate the less privileged. For this very purpose, the IFIM hostel’s library was chosen as the venue for a new coaching centre. Students of the institution volunteered to impart knowledge to the kids from a neighbouring village for free. The project was appropriately titled Shiksha Aadhar, as this is exactly what the intention is.

The inauguration of this coaching centre was held on the 15th of February, which aptly coincided with Saraswati Puja, which is a day to celebrate the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sanjay Padode, the founder of IFIM B-School. Addressing the children, he said, “Our aim is to help you stand shoulder-to-shoulder in this overly competitive world with every other individual.” Notebooks and pens were distributed among the children.
“Imparting wisdom is something great, and it is a very noble cause that you have undertaken. I am sure you will put in a whole-hearted effort for the cause, and it will eventually succeed” said Mr. Padode while addressing the volunteers from IFIM B-School.
IFIM students showed that the life is not all about how much you can take from this world, but how much you can give back to it. The noble task that these students have taken up is outdone in its nobility only by their will to succeed and their desire to make a difference to the world that they live in.

However I have rearranged the college according to priority wise as follows
What are the placements like? What is the highest salary package at IFIM?
The institute saw 100% placements in 2021. The highest package at IFIM was 16 LPA while average salary was 10.21 lakhs per annum. This is an increase of about 12% from the previous year. Specialization wise the average package was 10.79 LPA.
this year saw a lot of students getting new age roles.
Dr. Atish Chattopadhyay, Director IFIM
Why does IFIM now known as JAGSOM?
The institute has been renamed as Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSOM). The ambition to be a globally acclaimed business school from India and the need to be mentored by a person who is an acclaimed global scholar from India was some reasons. Jagdish Sheth, a Padma Bhushan recipient acclaimed globally is a mentor for JAGSOM and we have honoured his work by naming the school after him.
