IFIM Business School Bangalore and IBM Inaugurates Business Analytics Lab
IFIM Business School, Bangalore and IBM (NYSE: IBM) announced the setting up of the IBM Business Analytics Lab at the B-School. The Lab, under Career Education for Business Transformation (CEBT) Program, was inaugurated by Yeo Hwee Lee, Director – Software Services and Support, Growth Market Unit, IBM.

In this Lab, IBM has provided the relevant software and training using various industry cases to the faculty members of IFIM Business School. The objective is to enable the future business managers with skills to succeed in any business, industry or function they choose to be in.
On this occasion, Lee addressed the faculty and students at the B-School to share her perspective on the power of information and the use of software tools that are critical for smarter business outcomes. She also talked about the skill scenario currently plaguing the industry and IBM’s commitment in bridging this gap by addressing the increasing need for multi-disciplinary skills by complementing the existing management education offering with the CEBT courses.
After the completion of the faculty development programs, the distinguished faculty members will train students on Predictive Analytics and Descriptive Analytics to start with and soon proceed to topics Services Sciences, SOA, Cloud and Social Collaboration.
Commenting on the collaboration with IFIM, Lee said, “Career Education for Business Transformation (CEBT) Program is a perfect example of IBM’s commitment to software education and an honest attempt to nurture the skills that industry needs. This new generation of business managers with analytical skills would be best equipped to perform in the dynamic industry.”

PLACEMENT - highest package in IFIM is around 19 lakh and average package is around 8 lakhs .

- The college witnessed 100% placements and 150+ companies participated in the recent placement drive and IT, BFSI, Manufacturing were the highest recruiting sectors
- IFIM Business School placement cell is linked to top recruiters like Oracle, Infosys, ITC, Nestle, Deloitte, Cognizant, Wipro and Mindtree.
Placements: Nearly 80% of the students from our course got placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered here was 7.5 LPA, which is fixed, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA, which is fixed. Top recruiting companies for our course are Arcesium, Deloitte, PwC, E&Y, Oracle, KPMG, Odessa, Moody's Analytics, CUB, HDFC, etc. Top roles offered in our course are finance analyst and tax consultant. Hello, From my research on internet i found that IFIM Bangalore is best college for studies of law but I think Cyber law courses are not there in that college,but if you are finding cyber law college than best college in Bangalore is N.A. Global Law School.

I Would like to know which is better, IFIM or Kochi Nuals, for 5 year BBA Llb course.Im looking to go for Corporate Law
They both don’t figure in the top 20 Law schools in India under the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF). Now we need to use other methods of assessment. If you look at the faculty of both we find that NUALS have more experienced teachers.
Our suggestion is that you weigh this aspect and decide as Law is one area where experience counts. Since you want to specialize in Corporate Law, find out the expertise in this domain.
Im applying for BBA at IFIM and Im looking for an honest review from a student of that institute.
IFIM, Banglore is indeed a good College to pursue BBA in. The College provides courses such as B.A , BBA, BCA, B.com etc.,. And the all the courses are good.
