GMAT Eligibility Criteria
GMAT Eligibility Criteria: A candidate aspiring to appear for GMAT need to fulfill the eligibility criteria stated by GMAC before registering for the test. There are a few eligibility standards stated by GMAC that a candidate must follow, which you can find in this article below. Take a look at the GMAT Eligibility Criteria.
The GMAT eligibility criterion may vary from institute to institute but that is applicable only after the candidate has cleared GMAT. However, the candidate will be required to confirm to the GMAT eligibility standards of the institute he/she has applied to. It should be noted that any institute, which provides post-graduate management degree, would demand a minimum qualification of Bachelor's degree from a recognised institute or university. Hence, it becomes necessary for the candidate to be a graduate if he/she plans to pursue education after sitting for GMAT.
GMAT or the Graduate Management Admission Test is the international test conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council for the admission in the B-schools of India and abroad. MBA aspirants, who want to pursue Executive Management Programmes or NRI candidates interested in pursuing MBA/PGP/PGDM from Indian B-schools, can take GMAT for admission to the afore mentioned programmes. Apart from that, GMAT scores are accepted by around 6,000 institutes across the world.
The candidate can be from any country or region and can be a student of any discipline. According to the GMAT handbook, if you are between 13 and 17 years old, you must get permission from a parentor legal guardian. For the permission, you must provide written proof of your guardian’s consent prior to scheduling the exam.
There are some points that you should remember before scheduling for the GMAT :
You may take the exam no more than five times within a 12-month period.
You must wait at least 31 days after you take the exam before you can take it again.
You must wait at least five years if you have previously achieved a perfect Total score of 800.
You must follow all of the registration and testing rules.
Candidates may apply for GMAT through the official website. Since there is no specific schedule, candidates may choose a date according to their convenience and availability of that date and time. Registration can also be done in other ways, like: Online, by phone, by mail and by fax.

See CAT stands for common admission test . It is a national exam which is held all over the India. It is the largest exam for MBA.
Whereas GMAT stands for The graduate management admission test. It is a global exam which is held across the nations for MBA.
It is easier to score in GMAT in comparison to CAT. If a person studies with full focus and concentration he can easily achieve 700+ marks.

will my 10th,12th marks matter for takingmba from foreign taking that i have good score in gmat
It may not matter much as before 10th ,12th marks ,your undergraduate degree comes and some kind of work experience you had probably done before joining MBA . It may sometimes depends on the specific college and their norms. Do check the specific college criterias you are applying for before registration.
Hope it helps.
i have a 9 cgpa(mech) from a reputed college and i am preparing to score my max in gmat but my board marks are low with 68% and math marks is 47.i cannot afford the fees but for very few i can, will taking mba from any reputed foreign unv and scholar ships related to it be affected due to board marks
Well any university abroad tries to select the students who are among the best according to their set guidelines and brings something to their department. Their application review process is very holistic and they try to see everything from academics to non academic to recommendations to test scores to your personal statement. If one part is weak then you need to make the other parts of your application as strong as possible to compensate for the lower part. As long as your application is great overall with a bit of up and downs, you will be able to get in.
I hope my answer helps.
All the best.
