About GMAT 2014 : The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test (CAT) which assesses a candidate’s analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in standard written English in preparation for being admitted into a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT Application Procedure: Candidates have to register for the GMAT at the GMAC website. To schedule an exam, an appointment has to be made at one of the designated test centers. The GMAT may not be taken more than once within 31 days, even if the scores are canceled.GMAT Application Fee: The cost of the exam is USD 250.GMAT Important Dates: GMAT is a round the year test and a candidate can take it any time of the year as many times they want. However there should be a gap of at least 31 days between 2 GMAT attempts. You cannot take GMAT more than 5 times in 1 year.GMAT Result: The GMAT result will be available right at the end of the test. The candidate will have the option of accepting it or declining it. If the candidate accepts it, they will get the score which both them and the participating institutes can view. GMAT(Graduate Management Admission Test) is an exam for admission in top B schools in US , Canada , Europe etc.
According to GMAC(governing body of GMAT) ,
you can register for the GMAT exam 6 months before the Graduate Management Admission Test date or latest
by 24 hours before the GMAT exam date
For example : Suppose exam is on 1 Dec 2019. So you can register for exams from 1 July 2019 to 1 Dec 2019.
However, the exam slot is not available at the last days before exams. So be well in advance to register.
