Global Institute of Business Studies Introduces GIBS By Your Side Scholarship Programme
The infamous Coronavirus has clouded the regularity, normalcy of the world and has brought everything to a halt. While people across the globe are fighting the pandemic keeping their spirits high, the economic setback has pulled back their willpower to a certain extent. Before December 2019, the virus that had no existence has taken the entire humankind by storm in just 4-5 months. In India, COVID-19 has infected more than 15 thousand in less than 2 months and has sent the country into lockdown. Not just India, in fact, most countries are fighting the same battle by staying in their respective homes. Although social distancing and lockdowns are essential considering the current scenario, one thing can’t be denied is that the industries, education sector, etc. have taken a bad hit.
Around mid-March, more than 70 countries announced school and college closures, leading to the postponement of exams, a smaller number of applicants due to uncertainty of economic support and other such things. The closedown of educational institutions has impacted the studies of millions of students pursuing higher education in India and across the globe.
Apart from having an adverse effect on the curriculum of 99% of students globally, the Coronavirus has people worrying about the economic aspects like student debt, housing, etc. as well.
Edu-tech Easing the Process of Learning
But while these were some of the problems being faced by the students and the college authorities, they are gradually finding their way back again, courtesy digital learning. Not compromising on the safety of the students and the staff, several colleges have shifted to digital mediums and educating students virtually with the help of recorded classes, webinars, online lectures, live discussions, and other similar things that have been helping students fill the gap of learning.
This global pandemic may have created social limitations, but the edu-tech industry has taken a leap to cross that barrier in the way of learning. The advancement of technology again came to the rescue and has brought a huge pedagogical change in the education sector. Things are being worked out so that the interruptions in the students’ learning can be minimized.
Still, the uncertainty of future hovers over plenty of young people who were looking to take admission in B-Schools and other professional higher institutes this year. For them, the path is unclear and filled with confusion. And the major reason is the financial aspect.
GIBS By Your Side Scholarship Campaign
Understanding the emergencies of this tough time, Global Institute of Business Studies, Bengaluru has taken the initiative under the guidance of Goyal Education Trust, a widely renowned charitable trust, to introduce scholarships worth Rs. 2.7 crores for all the students who take admission in the GIBS Post Graduate Diploma program in Management for the 2020-22 batch.
This decision is taken by the authorities of the institute to ensure their contribution to society in a way that helps people directly in some way. Giving back to society and the management education sector, everyone at GIBS aims to provide all the facilities that benefit its students.
Each student that confirms their admission in the PGDM course will be given a scholarship of up to Rs. 1.5 lacs on the total fees of the course. In this time of need, GIBS By Your Side initiative highlights the institute’s efforts at humanity and also underlines their cause of being by their students’ side at every step of the way throughout the duration of the course.

Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad is a decent college.
The fee for the college id Rs. 8.15 lakhs and the average package is 4.15 lakhs.
But the problem wit the college id that the return on investments . The fee for the course is very high and the package for the placements is less .
The fee including hostel would touch 11 lakhs which is too high.

Hi Sb !
Actually none of these is good colleges. But if you only want join from any of these colleges, then GIBS would be nice.
Let's talk about it
An average place to study, unique infrastructure. According to the reviews which are on internet it seems that it is a very good college to join.
GIBS Business School has a "Placement Panel" whose head is Mrs. Uzma Nayeem (Renowned Image Consultant) and the members of the panels are all the CEOs of companies in bangalore. GIBS even has a placement advisory board working for the national and international placements. Every Saturday they have a Guest Lecture from one the members of the panel and a session from Mrs. Uzma Nayeem to shape up your personalities into corporate person. So, placements are sure provided student actively participates and attends all the sessions arranged for the placements by the panel.
Average:- 6 - 8 lakhs

They have an Unique TRIO combination of MBA + PGPM along with SAP, SIX SIGMA and Project Management Program (one of the most required and appreciated certification world wide) and many more value added courses and certifications.
