While IIM Calcutta might be known as Finance forte amongst top IIM (IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C) with top recruiters queuing up to offer Finance roles at this B-school as well, a significant share of MBA graduates from this premier B-school migrate to other roles like Sales, Operation and Consulting as they firm their feet in the corporate world.
According to the latest LinkedIn data accessed by Careers360.com, unlike the common perception about IIM Calcutta being the hub for producing Finance aligned managers, the top three functions where IIM-C alumni are presently working include Sales, Operation, and Consulting.
