FIIB organizes HR Conclave on August 22
The Fortune Institute of International Business (FIIB), New Delhi, organized an HR Conclave on August 22 at its campus with theme- Creating Happy Organizations. The Conclave was inaugurated by Dr. Anil Kumar Sinha, Director – FIIB.
The agenda of the conclave included two Panel Discussions, one on Industry Perspective and one a Student Panel Discussion on the similar theme. The Speakers of the conclave were, Mr. Alok Narain- Executive Vice President - Quatrro Global Services along with Dr. Anil Kumar Sinha, Director – FIIB and Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti, Dean - FIIB
The event was 5th in the series of conclaves on, ‘Innovation in HR: Gearing for 2020.’ The aim of the Conclave was to discuss ideas and practices that enhance the level of employee satisfaction resulting in an effective work culture.
Mr. Alok Narain, Executive Vice President - Quatrro Global Services, in his speech addressed the audience with the fact that Happy Part in Organizations is not the end result, rather it is the process and eventually every employee gets added to it multiplying the Happiness Effect.
Mr. Narain showcased the aspects and practices of his company that make the employees happy, productive and ever lauding.
Mr. Rajender Sud – CEO of Max Skill First, Mr. Deepak Behl – HR Director of The Grand, Mr. Vinodreddy Ninakanti, Human Resources of Hero Motocorp, Mr. Ankush Minocha - Programme & Delivery Leader, Wipro Technologies and Ms. Nimisha Nair - Human Resources Personnel of Wipro Technologies were the panel speakers of first Industry Panel Discussion.
Mr. Vinodreddy Ninakanti emphasized on the context and concept of being in a happy organization. Mr. Deepak Behl quoted an anecdote to elaborate on a story that questioned what exactly brings happiness to the employees –salary, perks or sense of achievement or growth. Mr. Ankush Minocha held the chord by stating Happiness as an intrinsic factor and how his company supports employees by giving flexibility to operate from anywhere they want. Moderator of the Panel Discussion, Mr. Rajendur Sud concluded the discussion into a capsule statement – ‘Creating Happy Organization is a combined effort of Organization and Employee.’
In the further session of HR Conclave 2015, students participated in a Panel Discussion and presented their viewpoints. They aspired to work in a happy place and expressed their ideas and expectations of the same.
The third Panel Discussion included Mr. Himanshu Arora , EX-VP-HR of IndiaHomes, Ms. Shikha Rastogi, and VP & Head – HR of ITV Network, Mr. Kumar Anshu - Chief Training Officer of Productive Humour, Ms.Y Archana - Chief Manager - Training & Development of Indian Oil Corporation and Mr. Paramjit Lamba - AVP-HR of Orient Craft. Mr. Himanshu Arora spoke about the significance of hygiene (hard) factors and intrinsic (soft) factors.
Ms.Y Archana said, “Happiness is directly proportional to success and it differs from person to person”. Responding to a student’s question, Mr. Paramjit Lamba suggested the need to be passionate about the work in order to be happy. He highlighted that Organizations may copy structure but not the intrinsic values that create happy organizations.

Got 80 percentile in mat. I live in delhi , should I go for FIIB delhi or should look colleges in Pune like pibm & iims pune?
As per your MAT Score, you can also opt for IILM Lodhi Road campus , as it is the oldest campus situated in the heart of Delhi with an huge Alumni base of 1200+ with most of them at senior positions. The faculty student ratio is the best here , a lot of one-on- one mentoring is provided to develop student personalities , CVs and also prepare them for the selection processes . We have some of the good companies on campus for SIP & placements like HDFC , Loreal , Khimji Ramdas , Modelez , deloitte etc.
jims kalkaji or fiib which is best for pgdm in finance?
Both JIMS Kalkaji and FIIB Delhi are leading and premier B schools of India. Both the colleges have excellent faculties and also enriched with world class infrastructure. But in Fortune Institute of International Business Delhi, the placement record in better compared to JIMS Kalkaji. Many of the top recruiters visit the campus for the recruitment such as Aditya Birla group, Genpact, Citi bank, Deloitte, Fecathlon , ITC and many more.
The highest salary package offered was 19 lakhs while average salary package offered is around 6.5 lakhs per annum.

Both the colleges are good but FIIB is having all relevant approvals and accreditation like AIU, NBA which makes PGDM equivalence to MBA. You will get excellent corporate and global exposure during the course.
jims rohini or fiib which college is best for pgdm?
Both are good colleges they are having all the important accreditation and approvals (AICTE, AIU, NBA) but if you compare FIIB will give you excellent corporate and global exposure for its students and more focus on experiential learning method and emphasis on long term career goal.
