How to check the CMAT result 2023?
In order to download the CMAT result 2023, candidates need to follow the steps given below:
Step 1 - Visit the official website of CMAT, cmat.nta.nic.in.
Step 2 - Click on the ‘CMAT 2023: Download Score Card’ tab
Step 3 - Candidates will be directed to a login page where they have to enter their login credentials such as:
Application number
Date of birth
Following this also add a security pin and click on the ‘Submit’ tab.
Step 4 - The screen will display the scorecard of CMAT 2023.
Step 5 - Download the CMAT 2023 scorecard and take the printout for future references.

The CMAT marking scheme is as under:
Candidates will be rewarded with 4 marks for each right answer.
1 mark for each wrong answer will be deducted
There will be no positive or negative marking for the questions left unanswered.
How to calculate CMAT Percentile?
The percentile for the CMAT exam is calculated on the basis of the individual rank, the total number of candidates appearing for that particular exam, and finally, the percentile obtained by that individual. The formula for calculating the percentile as per the CMAT result 2023 is depicted below:

Percentile (P) = ((N- your rank)/N) x 100
(Where N = total number of candidates who appeared for the exam and P = percentile)
CMAT Tie-Breaking Criteria 2023
In case two or more candidates score the same in CMAT 2023, the ranking is done on the basis of the CMAT sectional score considered in the following order:
Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
Logical Reasoning
Language Comprehension
General Awareness
If again more than one candidate secures the same ranking going by the above process, the same rank is assigned to all of them but is displayed by sorting their names alphabetically. Following this the rank in CMAT of the next candidate is then extended by the number of additional students having the same rank. For example, if 3 students are at 6th rank then subsequent students will be ranked 9th.

CMAT Normalization Process 2023
CMAT 2023 will be conducted in multiple slots. In order to ensure that candidates are neither benefited nor disadvantaged due to the difficulty level of question papers in different slots, NTA will conduct a CMAT normalization process.

What after CMAT Result 2023?
Once the CMAT result is declared, the CMAT accepting colleges will conduct further admission procedures for MBA. All the institutions organize the counselling process for the exam distinctively since there is no centralized coordination for the same. The individual institutions, where the candidates have applied, will contact the latter for further procedures. The institutions organize Group Discussions and Personal Interviews for the candidates to take part and shortlist them on that basis for admissions.
Group Discussion (GD): The candidates will be divided into groups of 8-10 people. Each group will then be given a topic to debate on. Each candidate will be given scores based on his/her performance in the discussion.
Personal Interview (PI): The candidates who are shortlisted in the GD will then get interviewed by a panel of professors. Candidates will be invited into the interview hall one at a time. Their communication skills, problem-solving skills, knowledge, and confidence will be tested in this round.
