Careers360: The CAT result was officially scheduled for third week of December. What is CAT 2014 Result status now?
Dr. Rohit Kapoor: Yes, we had scheduled the CAT 2014 Results for the third week and we actually wanted to do so. But, it’s taking a little more time as our team along with our testing Partner Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is taking a few extra measures to make the CAT results completely flawless.
Careers360: So, what exactly is holding you back from announcing the results?
Dr. Rohit Kapoor: Nothing is holding us back. It’s in final stage and we are doing our final checks on any possibility of technical errors. Since we expect heavy traffic on Result day, we are testifying the technical aspects and ensuring that there is no technical glitch like server crash once the result is declared.
Careers360: When should we expect the result finally?
Dr. Rohit Kapoor: We are determined to announce the CAT results as soon as possible. We also don’t want CAT-takers to wait much longer. It will be announced soon. I assure CAT 2014 takers that they will get their results before they step into New Year Celebration!
Careers360: There are some conflicting media reports on result declaration. What is your take on this?
Dr. Rohit Kapoor: We had declared the result date along with application announcement about six months back. It is only rational to expect a little change in the result date as the final process of result compilation itself is a complex process. Further, I don’t want to comment on media reports and I don’t know where they are getting these information from. We, on our part, are completely focused on bringing the CAT 2014 results in a fair and transparent manner.
Careers360: Final words to the CAT takers who are eagerly waiting for results.
Dr. Rohit Kapoor: We understand that you have worked hard for Common Admission Test (CAT). We are taking every measure to ensure highly fair CAT results. I wish that your CAT Results gives you a reason to enter New Year on a happy note!
