CAT 2016 Expected Cutoff
According to the experts, owing to the higher level of difficulty, the CAT 2016 cutoff is expected to go down. Arks Srinivas, CEO, Vistamind says, "Last year, getting 180 marks resulted in candidates securing 99 percentile. This year, it is expected that 165 marks would lead to 99 percentile."
While most of the IIMs have already announced their individual IIM admission criteria, the new IIMs are yet to declare admission criteria for 2017-19. The admission criteria of IIMs announce the screening CAT 2016 percentile, shortlist and final admission criteria and CAT selection procedure.
IIM Selection Procedure
The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. The new IIMs conduct Common Admission Process (CAP), which include the WAT PI rounds for the common shortlisted candidates of all new and participating IIMs for CAP. This year, IIM Rohtak is conducting CAP for 2017-19 batches. The Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) rounds will be conducted in February-March.

There is no specific cutoff of percentile on which you can get into top IIMs. Since your marks in 10th, 12th is above 90% and in graduation above 7 CGPA with work experience, you can expect a call from
IIM-A, IIM-B, IIM-C
if you have at least
99 percentile in CAT
also you should aim for
