How to fill IRMA Application Form 2017: Step-by-step guide
The Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA) conducts its national level test IRMA for admissions to its Post Graduate Programme in Rural Management (PGP-RM). The officials have started the IRMA application process from October 1, 2016. If you are aspiring to appear in IRMA 2017, this step by step guide on How to fill IRMA application form will ease the process for you.
The application forms are available in both online and offline modes, for you to register. If you wish to proceed to apply or the test, you must first check whether or not you are eligible to apply for IRMA.
As per the IRMA eligibility criteria, candidates must have a recognised graduation degree with minimum 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST/DAP candidates). Students must also have valid CAT 2016 or XAT 2017 scores. Now, if you have checked your eligibility, let’s move to ‘How to fill IRMA 2017 application form’.
Step 1- The first step for you, is to register via a valid log-in id and password. Once you will enter the e-mail id, the officials will send a password to the id. Re-login with the id and password, and start with the application process.
Step 2- After registering and logging-in to the account, the first section of the form you are required to fill is your basic details. You must fill your name, address, category, and other sections correctly. Here you also have to select the fee payment mode. Once you fill in the all the blanks, click Next tab.
Step 3- This step will show the eligibility criteria, on the basis of your category, which you have entered in the previous step. Check the criteria, enter your education details, percentage, and fee mode details as required and click on the Next tab for further steps.
The application fee for IRMA 2017 for General& OBC candidates is Rs. 1200, while for SC/ST/DAP candidates it is Rs. 600. The entire application fee for candidates belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) will be waived off.
Step 4- This is the steps where you are required to add your XAT or CAT registration number, along with details about your income and test centre. Enter details and click on the Next tab.
Step 5- This is the step where you will be shown the details entered by you. You must preview all the facts you have entered, as if moved forward, you won’t be able to edit any of the details. Check all the details and move to the final stage.
Step 6- This is the last and final step of the IRMA application form. You are required to upload your image and signature in the dimension as stated by the officials. The maximum resolution for uploading photograph is 150x180 pixels, and for signature are 150x70 pixels. Images with the said resolution will be uploaded. Once you upload the images successfully, click on Submit button. You will receive an acknowledgement from the officials on your registered e-mail id.
The application process started from October 1, 2016, in both online and offline modes. The offline process will continue till December 23 and the online window will close on December 30. Candidates opting for IRMA 2017 offline application can buy the application form from the IRMA admission office by requesting for the application form by sending the fee by cash or cheque at the following address,

The admission office will send the application form, prospectus and sample question paper of ‘Issues of Social Concern’ test to the candidates by post to the address communicated by them while requesting for the application form.
IRMA had announced the admission notification for the PGDRM 2017-19 on September 5, 2016. The exam is scheduled on February 12, 2017. The total number of seats available for PRM 2017-19 is 180.

Please provide me with the details of refund policy of IRMA. I have been selected for IRMA and I havent received any reply from their admission committee. Thanks in advance!
The IRMA refund policy states that if IRMA recieves information about the widthrawal of a student from the programme,before the induction programme starts, they will fine 1000/- rupees from the fees,and return the rest of the fees.
IRMA Refund Rules of PGDRM40 (2019 – 21) will be applicable if the student withdraws after joining the Induction Programme.

Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme and Fee Exemption : The Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme, as per the AICTE rules, is available at IRMA. IRMA also firmly believes that no one should be deprived of education for lack of financial resources. Hence, IRMA is open to providing financial assistance to meet the PRM tuition fees of extremely poor applicants. Participants can request for Exemption only after joining.
Educational Loans : Educational loans are available from various banks to applicants enrolling at IRMA.

Institute of Rural Management Anand is an autonomous institution and premier business school located in Anand Gujarat, Cutoff refers to the minimum marks required by the candidates to qualify for the Group Activity and Personal Interview. The cutoff for general category (non-profile based) remains the highest with 85 percentile in XAT. There nothing mention like sectional cutoff. Sir, After completed Bsc agriculture from private university I an eligible for getting admission in Institute of rural management Anand (IRMA) in PGDM ( RM ).
Obviously you can do that. According to the official website of IRMA , any student graduated with any discipline can apply if he/she has a minimum education of 15 years (i.e., a bachelors degree) & 50% or above marks in graduation or corresponding CGPA (for sc/st its 45%). Also the students of final year can apply.
