According to the APICET 2017 eligibility criteria, candidates must have a recognised bachelors degree in any of the discipline. If a candidates fails to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for APICET 2017, his/her candidature will be cancelled. AP ICET 2017 was conducted on May 2 in the online mode. The application form of APICET 2017 is available from March 1. The last date of application is April 5, 2017 without late fee. With late fee, the application deadline is April 26.

Highlights of APICET 2017 Eligibility Criteria


As mentioned in the official brochure, a candidate must fulfill the below given criteria to be able to apply for APICET 2017. The eligibility criteria are:


1. Candidates must be Indian nationals.

2. Candidates must have a passed bachelors degree from any of the discipline or field.

3. The bachelor degree must be of minimum three years of duration from a recognised university or institute.

4. Candidates should have atleast 50% marks at graduation level.

5. In case a candidates belongs to SC/ST/reserved category, they need to have minimum 45% at graduation level.

6. The qualifying degree or the graduation degree if obtained through distance mode should be recognition by joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC.

7. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation, and or, are appearing for the final year exams are also be eligible to appear for APICET 2017.


Candidates must also know that fulfilling the APICET eligibility criteria 2017, does not promise  final admission to any of the candidates. The eligibility criteria of APICET 2017 is solely for registeration purposes.
